Cute but came marked up
The outfit was beyond adorable. The 7.5 y/o was getting an American Girl doll but we were super hesitant to spend that money on a doll for the 2.5 y/o who wants everything her sister gets. This was on sale for under $50 around the holidays and I snapped it up. Great hair, cute face, very good quality compared to the AG doll but when I was helping put on a different outfit the first time I noticed dark ink like marks around her joints. Not a deal breaker but just weird and I would have sent it back had I paid full price. As it were my 2.5 y/o won't let go of her, so no returning her now!

Darling Doll
I purchased the Adora Doll for a Christmas gift. I am an adult Doll Collector of Antique dolls and wanted a quality doll that was just as attractive as the big brand doll without the big price tag. I found the face sculpt charming and girl like. The hair was fun with its pink streaks! There are a lot of 18" doll clothes on Amazon to supplement the costume (super Hero) the doll was dressed in I was. so pleased to find the Adora Doll. The recipient was thrilled with her doll too.

😤
My daughter is a very clean little girl and when she open the doll up on Christmas there was and still is a very large blue mark under her chin so my daughter refuses to play with the stall due to the fact it looks like someone drew on her with marker before it was shipped to me

Well-Made Doll In An Adorable Superhero Costume
Astrid is well made and fits in nicely with American Girl (AG), Kindred Hearts, (KH) and Our Generation (OG) dolls. Many of the clothing pieces will be interchangeable between the brands. She comes packaged in an exterior brown cardboard box, then an interior attractive pink box, but you cannot see what's inside until you open the box. The doll is presented attractively in the box, with ribbons to keep her in place during shipping. A tip for the ribbons - no need to cut - the cardboard they are attached to is an insert, and comes out easily. If you pull on the short end of the tied ribbon, it comes apart easily. Astrid came with paper covering her hands to keep them clean and safe, so you may need to carefully cut the tape to remove the paper. Her cape and boots are bagged separately. The packaging and presentation looks really nice, so definitely giftable.Astrid's outfit is awesome. Everything is attached with velcro, so it's easy-on / easy-off. The belt is a separate piece from the dress, which has a built-in panty. She has matching wrist guards and superhero boots, both of which are glittery fuschia vinyl. I love the superhero cape. It's completely reversible, with gold on one side and fuschia on the other.Hair is a nice dark brown color with pink highlights. It comes in two buns, which I left as-is. Her hair has a part in the back so that this hairstyle works. It's rooted, soft, with a good sheen. Eyes are pretty, open and close. Pretty face, good details. Facial shape is nice, I like the slightly pointy chin, the very subtle pink to the cheeks, and the individually drawn eyebrow hairs. A nice touch is actual physical creases above her eyes, like people have.Nice details - on the bottom of the feet are realistic lines, indentations, bottoms of toes, etc. The AG and OG dolls have flat feet with no detail on the bottom. The KH dolls have slightly more detail on the bottoms of their feet. In contrast to the other dolls, the Adora Amazing Girl (AA) doll has a plastic chest with a huggable body below, like the Journey Girls Dolls from Toys 'R' Us. The other dolls' fabric bodies extend to the neck.Compared to my AG doll, the AA doll's arms and legs are considerably less chubby and her torso is a little thinner. The AA feet are about the same length but slightly narrower than the AG feet, and the foot raises toward the front of the ankle at a different angle. Shoes and socks that have plenty of give in them may be interchangeable. Astrid's boots just barely fit onto my AG Samantha as Samantha's calves are thicker and form a different angle. Hands are similar to the AG hands, with some parts of them looking slightly larger or smaller. Unless gloves or mittens are fairly form-fitting, they should be able to wear them interchangeably. The AA doll should be able to wear most of the clothes for the AG doll, as long as they have a little give. One of my AG dolls fit into the AA dress but the belt did not close, but my other AG doll was a little more stuffed and could not fit into the AA outfit at all.Compared to my OG doll from Target, the AA doll's arms legs are about the same, and the torso is about the same. The AA feet are fairly similar in size to the OG doll. Hands are about the same size but differently shaped than the OG doll. The OG doll can wear the AA clothes just fine. The AA doll was able to wear the shoes from my OG doll, but it probably depends on the style and fit of the shoes. The OG shirt that I had fit the AA doll. The AA dolls are shorter by about 3/4" compared to the AG dolls. The height difference is almost completely accounted for in the head. Keep in mind that even within the same brand, dolls will have slightly different measurements depending on when, where, and how they were manufactured, most frequently in the stuffing process. This can be a good thing, because many clothes are made with a little give, so they'll fit slightly different body sizes.
