I am kind of a LED flashlight nut. I buy and test a lot of different flashlights and this one really stands out. This is by far the brightest LED and battery combination I have found. The 4 different light brightness levels allow for nicely adjustable output and can really extend into very LONG run times. The device gets a bit warm on the highest setting of 4 (which is literally blinding), but that is a gentle warning that you are in the highest brightness and need to consider a lower setting if possible. On the setting of 3, which I use mostly, it offers great light brightness and very long run times. the lowest setting on 1 is almost like a candle and can last for days, but is still bright enough for reading under the covers.I was pleasantly surprised to find this flashlight supplied with some nice spare parts. There is even a spare off/on button in case you wear out the original (a part that I have seen a lot of failures on other lights). There is a spare front lens and a spare O-ring seal. HOWEVER, the confusing thing is that the included instructions clearly tell you to never disassemble the flashlight. OK, so how is the user supposed to install the nice included spare parts ? ? ? Why are there no instructions on how to install any of the included spare parts?Finally, the belt clip on this flashlight is absolutely the strongest and best quality I have ever found on a light. I think it would literally rip your pants off before it would bend. It has outstanding spring tension and is the perfect shape to easily snap over a leather belt.Of all the flashlights I have bought this one is by far the BEST I have ever found. I highly recommend this light to anybody needing a very versatile light that can be incredibly bright and yet last a long time on a fresh battery. This light is clearly BETTER than all of the police tactical lights I have purchased and it is still more compact in size. I will certainly be buying more of these and putting them in every hiding spot I have . . . .

This is the second VG15 I have bought, and I will probably just go ahead and replace all of my work lights with this model. The thing I like best about this light is everything. It is a complete pleasure to use a reasonably sized, bright as sin flashlight that just plain works and doesn't break the bank keeping in batteries. I even like the no-focus simplicity because to get that little extra feature you have to pay the penalty in weight and bulk (which I do not need when creeping around in offender's yards and homes at night). Mine have survived all sorts of mayhem even an unplanned pool entry during a foot chase and fight. Keep making this little gem and don't change a darn thing! This is the piece of safety equipment I rely on more than any other!

The flashlight is bright and sturdy. Small enough to be my every day carry and the battery lasts a long time! While it does get a little warm if left on the highest setting for a long time, its not anywhere near hot enough to burn you. For me, it's actually a good thing. I've been so busy doing things that sometimes I accidently leave it on and it getting warm is a good way to check and make sure that the light is turned off!This little light pumps out some serious light! I have no way of actually measuring the light output but I feel like it's living up to it's claim of 800 lumens. Because it's so bright at the highest setting, when you're working on something near you in a place that is already dark, it's very useful to have the lower light modes so you don't hurt your eyes. Yes, it's that bright. I always have people guess how much I paid for it and they always guess upwards of $80!I've dropped this flashlight hard. Hard enough to make me cringe and think...well.. there goes that flashlight. Nope. It was fine. I don't recommend doing drop tests though, haha.

I wouldn't mount it on a gun, but it's a solid pocket carry. I'm really impressed with the quality of this light for the price. I use it almost every day for work. Probably not waterproof, because there is no O-ring between the silver part in the front and the lens. But for 25 bucks, this is a superb light. I picked up some 3400 MAH X-tars from battery junction and they last forever.Your next step up would be a fenix or an olight, (50-100 dollars) but seriously, for 25 bucks, you should just buy this. You really can't beat the quality at this price. Even if you carry a high end light, you should pick up one of these for your glove box. It has memory, so it comes on in the last mode you used. You don't have to cycle through modes to find the one you like. Hard to find lights with memory at this price point.

Very good quality, nice build.I use for my inspector work in ship yard on steel work inspections and I'm very happy.Very bright.
