It is code, so obviously unless you are using it as a reference, it is not fun to read. This was one of the required books I need for my open book exam that I was taking to get my Georgia General Contractors License. With the number of pages this book has (Close to 700), I found this softcover edition to be easy to carry around, especially since I need to bring in more that 10 books for the open book exam. Once I took the exam, though, it was just sitting in the shelf collecting dust. I lent it to a couple of other exam taker friends, so I guess the book was worth to had. You need to check if this is still the latest code before you buy this though!

This arrived promptly and in great shape. This was just what I needed to follow my town’s code requirements.

Book is great for getting the codes of that time. A person still needs to check with your county to see what IBC year they are using. My county happens to be using the 2006 still with miner updates! Need to check with your county for updates/changes. All in all Great book!

Necessary for taking the contractor's test. Not leisure reading by any stretch of the imagination!

Shipped fast and what I needed. This book has more rules than most of us will ever follow. It's a shame when they go so far as to tell you what kind of windows you HAVE to put in your house. More laws equals more cost.

Its a code book. Not much to review here

The 2006 IBC code book was just what I needed for my architecture business.I still encounter cities who have not updated or adopted the last version of the IBC.Thank you very much for selling this book at such a reasonable price.
