Nothing to Fear About Estonians
Xenophobe's Guide to the Estonians is a short but informative book that can easily be read in one sitting. It provides humorous insights into the Estonian character that I found to be fairly accurate based on my experiences. I think it would be helpful reading for anyone planning to visit Estonia or for anyone acquainted with Estonians. As with any group, there are always many exceptions to the characterizations contained in the book, but on the whole the authors have captured the ethnic characteristics and present them in an enjoyable and very readable format.

informative
We'll written and reasonably accurate book. Does deal in stereotypes, but there are always truths in those. Recommended for anyone wanting a general understanding of the Estonians .

Humorous for sure. Will see how accurate.
Really complete, touching on every conceivable aspect of the culture, but light enough for an easy and enjoyable read. Well done!

Entertaining read, with some good insights into Estonians as a whole (though based on a limited sample), but I was looking for more breadth and depth.

It looks amazing and new. I love it~, it's clean, no damage, and it arrived perfectly on time. The book is so informative and wonderful. I'm going to reread it over and over again!

Outdated, insulting and borderline racist!
As an Estonian I felt ashamed and flabbergasted to read this pile of regrettable outdated stereotypes, compiled with no sense of humor, decency or understanding of the subject matter! This book is a disgrace!

Very good book, highly recommended even if only for the laugh. I wasn't expecting anything at first, but I got a good kick out of this one.

Recommend!
My husbands family are 1st Generation Estonian and Estonian is my husbands first language. I bought this bought as a "stocking filler" for his 60th Birthday, not thinking much of it, but it went down a storm! My husband is not a great reader, however from the moment he started this book he never had his nose out of it and found it thoroughly enjoyable. He did say that there were 2/3 small points that he felt were untrue, but the rest was incredibly accurate and very funny. Highly recommend. 5*****.

Easy read
I have now read around 20 of the Xenophobe's Guides and this is by far the weakest. I was in Estonia earlier this year and couldn't relate too much of it. This series is a tongue in cheek look at nations and the contents shouldn’t be taken as gospel. It is an easy read if nothing else and entertaining in places. On another note, Tallinn is a charming city, very welcoming and the people are lovely. However, it is not the bargain I expected.

A fun book
As an Estonian I totally recognise the nation in this humorous production. I have enjoyed buying this as a present for non-Estonian family members :)

The real Estonians?
This is a tongue in cheek look at the Estonians. It's quite entertaining and a quick read. I learned some things about the country and its people.

History teachers shouldn't read it :)
It is funny book but however, the historical facts should be correct or not presented at all.
