Wallpaper* City Guide Bogota

I love all the Wallpaper* City Guides. They are so easy to travel with, doesn't take too much space in your bag and it's filled with wonderful architectural, design and cool tips of where to go and what to do while traveling to that city, this case, Washington DC.Totally recommend all of the Wallpaper* City Guides if you are into Design in general.

Seriously, these are not for everyone. If you love fabulous design and that is an important part of why you travel, Wallpaper Guides are the best!

I recently spent a day and a half in Rome, and this was an almost-perfect guide to all of the sorts of things I like to do when I visit cities. I say "almost" because there's no map! The book lists the street address for each destination, but fails to include info on how to get there (e.g., bus lines, nearest subway stop). So: buy this as a handy guide to all things hip and happening, but also invest in an indexed street map so you can get where you want to go.

I love the Wallpaper Guide Series. It's portable, succinct and full of fantastic photographs. Very considerate including a space in back for notes. I like the focus on architecture and the arts. Can't go wrong with one of these when traveling to your next destination.

Very little content. Disappointed.

Nothing special in this guide to be honest. Went to Barcelona and didn't really find anything interesting in this guide. You're better off doing research on your own and talk with the locals.

This Wallpaper book on Barcelona was excellent to have on our December 2010 trip with our family. Small pocket size allows for easy reference on the go. Large color pictures with well written descriptions were very useful.

I was hoping for a street map of Bogota but this was a narrative about local attractions. It was nice publication but did not use it. Instead I found the same info in a more traditional tour guide by National Geographic.

We were going for a hiking trip to Iceland and focused on nature. But one day is was fully raining so this guide was quite helpful to find some nice galleries und bars.
