Helped with Early Start on Seedlings
I really did like the weight. I needed something wider and shorter for my 4x8 raised beds so cut it in half, sewed it lengthwise. I ended up with 2 lengths that were 12'x12.5', the right length and width to drape over my pvc hoops and clipped them on. I wish it could have come in the right size, but an hour at the sewing machine and it was done. They are folded up and ready for this winter. The fabric was very strudy and I expect it to last several years. The white PVC clips I bought on Amazon were a must to keep it snug during storms.

Excellent Customer Service from VMInnovations
I purchased 3 bulk rolls of this frost cloth initially, but didn't utilize the product once it arrived to cut and sew it into the sizes I would need to protect my plants for a future need; there were no freezes forecast for the next couple of weeks. However, the forecast changed, and I found that I only had 2 days to prepare for a couple of mornings in the lower 30's. I found that I had not purchased enough product to cover all the sensitive plants in my landscaping and ordered another 6 rolls right away. VMInnovations ensured that the product arrived this morning after my order the previous day (he day before the upcoming freeze). I was able to complete the protection measures for the plants by 9 PM tonight. I greatly appreciate the excellent customer service I received. Cheers!

I was so SURPRISED! 10 out of 10! SAVED MY GARDEN
I am so incredibly elated right now. We just had three days of freezing temperatures and wet snow May 17th 2017 p.m. till now, its May 20th in CObefore noon, and we're uncovering our vegetable garden including peppers tomatoes tomatillos squash basil eggplant all of which do not survive freezing temperatures on their own. We covered the raised beds with cut bamboo sticks supporting it off the plants (the best idea we could come up with, I know not that great but it's our second year gardening, what do we now?) Then, we watched the wet snow fall onto the material and it slunk down on top of the plants, being just held up be the bamboo sticks. We did do something smart though, we used those black and silver clips, large ones to make sure no cold air whipped under the cloth. The snow froze on the cloth in a layer, and did not melt for 3 days. From the outside it looked like they were smashed down flat with the other side of the material in a frozen state right on top of the poor plants. We imagined they were frozen to a crisp. SURPRISE! We let it warm up and the cloth to dry this am, then my husband, without a shred of hope, uncovered the beds. WE DID NOT LOSE A SINGLE PLANT. There were 2 peppers (out of 16) that broke the stem, (not a bad thing as some prune their peppers back at the same point on the stem to get more peppers), the basil had a tiny blackened spot, ALL the toms looked WONDERFUL. Overall, I give this 2.5 OZ DEWITT CLOTH a 10 out of 10!

Awesome, heavy frost cloth
This frost cloth is great, I usually use C9 Christmas lights with it, but it easily keeps my raised bed 15 degrees warmer than outside temp (Last night, 49 vs 33). I’ll update this sometime when I don’t use the lights. Much heavier than other cloth I’ve bought, and held up well when we had 35-40 mph winds. I think this will last numerous seasons. Would definitely buy again!

Protected tomatoes
I had beautiful fall tomatoes with threats of frost coming. I saved them with this product and had tomatoes until December 5. This allowed many of them to turn red. YAY!

minimal protection
worked sort of. We had a barely 30 degree frost overnight, and I had the plants all covered with this. Anyplace where the fabric was touching the plant the plant suffered frost burn, where the fabric didn't touch the plant, the plant was okay. So everything survived, but there was a lot of leaf damage. Quite disappointed as I thought this ultra heavy duty cloth would have offered better protection. We had frost the next night also, so I threw heavy blankets on my plants, No further damage. So it seems this stuff is no better than a blanket over the garden.

All plants survived our 29 degree night. So happy I found this product. Was easy to reroll for next time.
