Exceptionally well written. Author is short and to the point with a dash of humor thrown in. Very easy to understand; written in modern day English language. Includes beautiful drawings, maps and charts to help reader understand each book of the Bible. Highly recommend!

If you like reading history than this is a good way of placing names and places from the Bible.Maps also help and think it is an honest attempt at understanding who wrote what book in the Bible. Purchase it for a friend since I purchase the first one at Walmart and they were sold out when I tried to purchase one after reading the first one.

Good book,very informative

This is an excellent work. It's easy to read and detailed, having a number of quality photographs and etchings. I bought this to replace the same one I bought a few years ago that is now very well worn. Highly recommended.
