Card reader works great with out S6 Samsung phone and 880 Moultrie cameras and Browning cameras (I forget the model, but they are less than a year old). We download the free file manager app as suggested in the instructions. Card reader is very easy to use and photos are very clear on our camera. The only thing that I don't like is it is a little slow viewing photos because you can't just "scroll" from one photo to the next. You have to go back to the folder after viewing each photo. It is possible that I have not figured out how to scroll yet. Someone please post up if there is a way to do it. Overall I am very happy with the card reader and would buy it again. On Edit 1: Apparently you can scroll through the photos by first copying all the photos from the card to the phone. Then you can scroll from photo to photo much quicker. On edit 2: I had downloaded the wrong free file manager app from Play Store. I incorrectly downloaded: "File Manager" I should have downloaded: "File Manager (file transfer)" as correctly stated in the instructions The Bone View card reader works perfectly now and I can easily scroll from photo to photo. The seller was VERY responsive and helpful and I highly recommend this product.

Great product and great guys to work with. I received one of these units and had a device that was on there list as compatible but the unit did not work. So several quick response emails were exchanged with different things to try. None of these things worked, so they ended up sending me a replacement unit that was slightly different than the original one. Works like a charm! These things are a great scouting tool to hunters. I love being able to check a camera that's near a stand before I hunt or just check a camera in the woods. I couldn't tell you how many times I've swapped cards and checked pics at home on the desktop just to realized I wasn't getting the buck on camera anymore or the new spot isn't that good. Then you have to make a return trip just to move the camara. With this you know right away what's going on

I wanted to share my experience because of the mixed reviews I read on this product, and others like it. Due to the negative reviews I decided to do some testing at home before heading to the field with it, in case all the bad things I read were accurate. I am happy to report they were not, at least in my case. First of all, I installed a file manager app as instructed. It was the "ES File Explorer", not good in my opinion, it was very confusing and loaded with ads. Fortunately the app was completely unnecessary for my Samsung Galaxy S7, I just plugged the reader into my phone, give it a few seconds to read the card and the factory file browser comes up showing the USB devise. Just an FYI, I did have to install a third party app to view the .AVI video files from my trail camera, this had nothing to do with the card reader. I viewed the pics and videos right from the card reader, copied and moved files to the phone storage as well as the phones SD card, then deleted the files through the card reader. I know this was a very limited test for this product but I have no reason to think it will not continue to work just as well in the field. I will update this review as necessary in the future. --UPDATE-- The card reader/phone won't recognize files or folders created by my Wild Game Innovations camera. Also after disconnecting the card from the reader/phone the folders/files are no longer accessible from the computer, I did get the data back with a recovery program. I feel this is mostly, if not totally, a phone issue and not a card reader problem.I can make the picture files display on my phone by manipulating the folders, not ideal but I can make it work when I have to for my WGI camera. These are the only two cameras I have and I don't have another phone to try it with right now, I'll update again if I get any new information. Hope this helps you make a decision.

Love this!!!!! I used to go out to check my cameras with my netbook. It was hard to get around the woods and clunky to use. This card reader is awesome. It fits in my pocket with my phone, works quickly and effectively. I can see all my pics and video in perfect detail. I really like how easily I can manage my sd card with OverView. I can choose to keep, move, copy and delete files on the card. My phone recognizes the reader and card without hesitation and setup was a snap.I usually copy the contents of my trailer cams sd card to my phone, clear the sd card, plug it back into the camera, watch any video or look at the pictures the camera took, decide what I want to keep and then either post pics online or send them to my home computer.

Absolutely loved this at first. Did have to download an app to play videos though. Can't swipe through pics, which sucks and after about 2 weeks it doesn't want to connect to my phone very well.

Samsung Galaxy phone. It works. I was surprised. This will be great for checking SD cards while I'm hunting to see if anything has been passing through the area I'm hunting. I won't have to wait until I get home. Seems to be pretty fast. Pretty easy to use. Reading the instructions 1st. The little zipper case is nice to keep the instructions, reader, a few SD cards in. It's small. Will easily fit in front pocket, fanny pack/backpack pocket. Seems well made. Easily linked to phone. Inexpensive. I recommend this to all hunters.

If you are a hunter and own trail cameras then you will want this sd card reader to view your trail camera photos and videos. This reader will not only save you time but will also save you from carrying clunky viewers and tablets to check your game cameras by using your phone that most of us carry anyway. The reader is packaged and boxed very nicely and comes with an instructional insert complete with pictures and easy to read directions. The reader is compact and lightweight but just wide enough that it makes the reader fit ergonomically in your hand. This helps to prevent the reader from slipping out of your hand while in the field and inserting your cards to read. If by chance it did slip out of your hand the color will make it easily retrievable. BoneView does not have their own app to use with this card reader but it is compatible with any file manager app you prefer to use. If you do not use a file manager app the instructions suggest using ES File Manager which I tired and it does work very well. The card reader along with ES File Manager is very fast and is compatible with all makes of SD cards. Transfer of my photos was instantaneous and easy to do on my Google Pixel 2.

Excelente producto

I bought this as a gift and it wouldn’t connect to the phone. Called the company and they sent multiple cords directly to the house and trouble shooted the problem until we got it to connect (was an android problem but they fixed it). Now it works great and would most definitely recommend this and the manufacturer as they were extremely helpful and worked hard and fast to resolve the issue!
