I ordered these for shipping gifts to family. I used to either wrap the gifts in a box which took up extra room in the shipping box, or put them in traditional gift bags which either dumped the gifts in shipping or had to be tied/stapled. Traditional gift bags also took up room because of the structured bottom. These bags were the answer. I was able to drawstring the item, tie it n the bag and ship easily. Because the bags are unstructured they packed easily and added little to no weight to the shipment. Yay! Money saved on shipping weight. The only thing I wish different, was that there were a few more of the larger bags. Overall very happy with my purchase.

These do have draw string to pull bag close and then tie ribbon which is nice -- however -- be prepared to wrap the gift in tissue or paper as they are see through....sort of defeats the purpose. Doesn't compare at all to the Kringle Express bags. I got the set because I needed a bunch of smaller bags -- the small bag was actually larger than I expected.

I started using these bags last year. As I wrap nearly 100 gifts, these are wonderful -- they come in a wide variety of sizes, provide their own ribbons (and occasionally their own tags), and are very colorful. They are easier to open than many traditionally wrapped gifts and can accommodate weirdly shaped items. Santa's elves were on target with this option.

Colorful, sturdy, easy to use and save a great deal of time. Easy to incorporate into using regular wrapping paper for some gifts if needed. I repeated my order for reasons as mentioned and just needed more.

These bag made wrapping presents quick and easy. Wish I had more size options and some where kind of see through but I will use again!

Too many small and not enough large

I was thinking this would make a few things easier to wrap... but... they are plastic - and ribbon ties are convenient. But... there are basically only 3 bags that are usable... the rest are really too small for anything I need. I should have listened to other reviewers noting the same. Further, it came in a plastic mailing envelope, which I opened with a razor knife. Helpful hint: I didn't cut any of my bags, but use care when opening if you purchase.

I loved the idea of these bags but the sizes were not good. The 2 biggest were not drawstring and the next size down came with a rip in 1of them. The smallest ones were so small I just really didn’t have anything that small to put in them. The thickness was good and they were sturdy. But was disappointed that the one already had a rip in it that I had to fix to be able to use it.
