Don't believe the few bad reviews. This works very well and I'm glad I bought it. Whether it's true 1" tubing I can't confirm, but it is definitely nice fat tubing with a large check valve on the end, which makes very quick work of transferring fuel.I bought it to to drain the tank on my Can Am X3 Turbo R with a tune, so that I can switch back and forth between pump gas or race gas and change the tune. It drained the 10 gallon tank very quickly, actually was maybe 3/4 of a tank full, and took less than a minute to drain it.

Gas cans are NOT made for multiple uses for boats and the nozzle will bend or snap off or leak (leakproof is a misnomer). This is extremely easy to use. just set your can down (I have thrown away the pouring nozzle and use the cap on it now) insert the hose so that the end is lower than your gas can (mine goes about 2-3 feet down the gas receptacle on my 22 foot long grady-white.) shake the hose and that starts a siphon that empties the whole can. Tip the can a bit at the end and you will remove every drop. this is an essential purchase for any boat owner.

This product siphons fuel (or any liquid). Its basically a hose with a clever mechanism that begins the flow and prevents backflow. It s a little fussy to use, but once going is vastly easier and less messy than pouring gas through a funnel or the spouts that often leak. I use it at a racetrack to put fuel in my car. Beware however, the larger version will NOT fit in normal cars' fuel fillers and the listing does not say this. You MUST order the smaller size (1/2"? ask the seller). Ask me how i know :-(

Most siphons like this online have a 3/4 inch or a half inch nozzle and does not have near as much flow. This one will do 5 gallons in less than 30 seconds. It is super fast and works great.

This works sooo much better than I expected! It drains my 5-gallon gas cans about 2-2.5 times faster than pouring them….. and I don’t have to be hunched over killing my back then entire time!It feels a little weird getting it started, kind of like a “shake weight” lol, but it’s worth it once all the gas starts flowing in. It’s really freakin cool!

Hose is flimsy and easily collapses around turns.
