Great effects from a great brush
I like that the bristles are thinner which enables me to achieve the leaf shape marks that I want in the painting.

Great brush, if I ordered it.
I recieved a #4 W&N pro sable pointed round, and it looks great. The only problem is I ordered a WN Hog Bristle Brush-Bright #1.

Love these brushes.
Winsor and Newton is the best quality brushes for full bodies oil paints. I'm a professional painter and I've tried and tested many, natural bristles are best and filberts are multifunctional for geometric lines and soft brush strokes.

Useful brushes and fairly hard wearing
I use rosemary brushes mostly however despite the winton name (the oil paint is poor) these are nice addition which I find useful from time to time. If cared for they hold their shape and the bristles don't seem to wear out as fast as some of the rosemary brushes.

Excellent quality
Great quality as expected. It carries weight of oil and can be used even for the fine details . Very good packaging and arrived in reasonable time.

I think the medium would have served my purposes better, but all in all a good sturdy brush
Slightly larger than I expected. If I could ask one thing it would be for measurements, then I wouldn't be left guessing. In hind sight, I think the medium would have served my purposes better, but all in all a good sturdy brush.

A brush for all mediums.
Nothing to dislike it's a fan brush reasonable firm for oils and also watercolor, keenly price and good value for money.

Brush frayed very quick
the bristles on the brush frayed out as soon as I used it once, which was quite disappointing since I had been googling for a good quality brush recommendation and had been pointed in the direction of Windsor & Newton but unfortunately I didn't find it in this brand and will probably not use this brands brushes any time soon!
