Nice....... But A Little Over Priced
Upon opening the box I was slightly disappointed with the product. I guess I was expecting something different, like the headliner to be made of a much denser type of foam. This foam is about an inch thick and very light and airy. Less dense than say cushioning foam...by far! It does have a nice black finish on one side which will look nice and give the roof a finishing touch but I can't imagine that it is going to offer much in the way of insulation or "sound deading" except maybe to soften inside acoustics a bit. But judging from sight, touch and feel it seems extremely over priced for what it is. If I had personally examined this product prior to ordering I woud not have paid this kind of a price. Maybe half this much. Perhaps it will perform better than it appears it will?I will update the review after I have installed it.UPDATE: I have installed the headliner and so far I am impressed. It was a fairly simple install and it looks great, especially compared to the white plastic look of the original top. It does make the vehicle somewhat quieter, but better than that, the insulation factor is even more noticeable! Before installing this headliner the sun would beat down on the top and make the interior unbearably hot, even on 70 degree days. With the headliner installed I have noticed a major decrease in the interior temperature even on extremely hot 90 degree days. If for no other reason the headliner is worth the insulation value alone.I have changed my review to 5 stars based on performance and looks. I still think it's a little on the expensive side but I'm glad I made the purchase.

Great product despite price. Would buy again.
Great product. I debated for a year and looked around and hoped price would come down but finally bought. Def worth the money. Noise and climate are way better with these installed. It’s quality. Easy to install. My 16yo son installed with the hard top on. Freedom panels out. Would recommend and would buy again. No issues with adhesion after 5-6 weeks. Even gives the Jeep a better feel/darker atmosphere versus the white ceilings. This week when it was in the 90’s, the areas with no foam were hot to the touch. Foam - just barely warm. Does a great job insulating. Really like this product.

Work Well! (ours was missing parts however)
I bought the set for my 2016 JK, 2 Door Jeep Wrangler. The set arrived in a large box that had been crushed a bit in shipping. In examining the contents though, all looked ok. When I finally got around to installing, I realized that the set was missing two of the "groove-filler" foam pieces that keep to surface for mounting smooth. Since I had the roof off and the help waiting to put it back on, I went ahead and installed the panels without them.Installation was smooth. I made sure to follow the instructions carefully, especially with surface prep. Adhesion has been excellent so far with no problems. There was a slight bit of distortion where the missing pieces were but it's in the back and really not that noticeable. After installation, I really have noticed that the interior is much quieter and cooler! Even with temps in the 90's, the padded areas are cool to the touch where in the past, the roof interior panels were almost too hot to touch. These do not radiate heat into the interior like the bare roof did!Overall, I'm pleased with the product!

Fantastic Headliner.
This headliner is fantastic; marked improvement with stock stereo system, more punch in the bottom end and clearer vocals. Other headliners only had 3 strips of adhesive whereas the Design Engineering Boom Mat had filler strips and the entire surface had adhesive. Quality product, highly recommend.

This insulation makes a night and day difference for your Jeep Wrangler Hardtop
Outside of having to remove the hardtop from my 2013 Jeep Wrangler, the installation of these insulation pads was incredibly easy. They fit perfectly, and make an immediate impact in insulating the hardtop from heat (and presumably cold, but it is not Winter yet), as well as from road noise. I went from barely being able to touch the inside of the hardtop while driving in the sun in the summer and feeling the heat radiate on my head, to now being able to sit comfortably and not notice any heat coming from the hardtop. Additionally, the road noise was immediately improved once these were installed.I am sure that other similar products may work just as well for a lower price (although I don't know that for a fact since these are the only ones I have tried), but I can assure you this product works incredibly well, and if you drive a Jeep Wrangler Hardtop, you will be very glad to have installed this. Additionally, it does not at all detract from the look of the hardtop, and in fact once installed, it fits so well, it looks like it came like that from the factory.I highly recommend this product.

1 man installation, no need to remove the top
This product may seem pricy (because it is) but you get what you pay for. Description does exactly what it says!-noticeable noise reduction: I can hear my own thoughts on the freeway now-a/c insulation works like a charm too-overall heavier feeling to the car when drivingINSTALLATION:Now the big question... can you do it yourself without taking the top completely off? YES. And it’s really not that hard: Just stack some shop towels on top of one another and wedge them between where the hardtop seal meets the windshield frame to get enough clearance while you work. Take your time, line everything up, and make sure to not stretch the foam because it will if you pull on it during application. You’ll probably need to trim the foam cutouts but nbd. Make sure to superclean the roof with sprayaway 2-3 times before you apply anything!!1 month later: no sagging, adhesion as good as it was on the first day. Love how quiet my yeep is now.

Headliner
Headliner is easy to install but need 2 people to do it. Not only is it sound deadening, it also provides some insulation from the heat in summer and cold in winter.

Well worth the money
I have noticed a big difference in sound and in heat retention ( I live in Canada ).My stereo sounds amazing now, great acoustics. The panel in the back seat will go on easier if you take the hardtop off. Took me about an hour to install .

Easy to install and big help
Wow what a difference. A combination of these and sticky floor mats makes my Jeep sound like a normal vehicle not a tank rumbling
