If you need a water bottle, a must buy, I've bought 3 of them. Pros far outweigh the cons.
Definitely a must buy if you need a water bottle.I've bought three of these water bottles and they're the best yet. I offered some cons, but the pros far outweigh the cons.Pros1) Extremely quick and easy to drink water- The autoseal button allows for really quick and easy access to water...no need to twist off caps or suck on straws that can get all the water- It honestly has improved my daily water consumption so develops a good habit of regularly drinking water because its so easy2) Insulated- Cold drinks stay colder longer than my other stainless steel water bottles- Hot drinks stay warmer longer (the Contigo website says otherwise, but I've noticed that its still better than other stainless steel water bottles)(With that in mind, its not meant to be used as a thermos for coffee etc- Trade off is capacity (see cons)3) Easy grip because its curved inward where people would normally hold a bottle4) Dishwasher safe- The cap is this complex looking contraption, but no worries because the cap is dishwasher safe5) Removable hook to easily hang from backpacks or just hold with our hands6) No spills or leaks (Based on my experience)- The autoseal button doesn't have a lock, but its never spilled ever before even in a backpack full of books- There's an extra cap that snaps on over the spout7) Comes in variety of colorsCons1) No lock on the autoseal button- 99.99999% of the time it won't leak. It hasn't leaked for me ever since I started using it and I keep it in my backpack loose with books and all, but it still may be possible since there is no lock on the autoseal button.2) Insulation tradeoff - capacity- Most other stainless steel water bottles I have used are 27 or 28 oz while this is 20 oz probably because of insulation- Because its easy to drink water, the lower capacity doesn't bother me3) Body is not dishwasher safe

Excellent water bottle, the insulation works very well.
Fantastic. I love this water bottle. I have found the only time I can drink water regularly is if it is cold. This bottle does a great job of keeping my water cold for several hours at a time. This is still a 5 star product but I am going to point out two "cons".1. It seals very well so when there are extreme temperature differences when you open the bottle to drink some water may explode out of the spout. Not a biggie but you cant get water flung in your face a few times until you learn.2. I find right after I fill it up it will occasionally drip water from around the seal. The amount varies but it eventually it stops. I think it may have to do with trapped condensation around the top and it escaping when you open and close it. Even with these two complaints I would still recommend this product based on how much I use it and still like it.

This bottle changed my life.
This is my all time favorite water bottle design, and I've had a few. This bottle places the fewest obstacles between you and the refreshing goodness it holds within. No messing with straws or unscrewing of caps; this is a one-handed, one button operation. Easy to get a quick drink and set the bottle down with no risk of leaking or spilling. This bottle does a great job insulating, and will keep your water cold pretty much all day (I've left the bottle in my hot car for several hours, and returned to find ice cubes inside still frozen). Bottle is easy to clean and maintain - all stainless steel, and no straws to worry about growing new forms of life in. $20 for a bottle may seem a little steep, but this bottle is highly functional and should last.

Best bottles out there!
I LOVE these bottles and have bought them for several family members as gifts. Liquid stays cold or hot for hours. Push button to drink keeps a good seal (and I've had mine for at least a year now). Has the lid cover for traveling/packing to make sure nothing leaks if the botton gets depressed in a pack. Convenient carry handle makes it easy to clip on a pack with a carbiner or just carry it around on your finger when working on your yard/property. You have to clean the lid periodically with a little brush, but it's pretty easy to clean. At first I thought with all the parts inside the lid it would be difficult, but it really isn't if younuse a straw brush, or even a q-tip.

My go to bottle.
Had this for about a year. Half of the blue is chipped off and constantly flake everywhere now. To be fair I did put it in the dishwasher. Few dents at the bottom makes it uneven. Overall happy with this bottle because it keeps ice for a long time, easy to drink from and spill proof with a bunch of toddlers always grabbing the bottle and throwing it around. Get stainless steel and this bottle is excellent. Use it everyday!

Love Contigo & the AutoSeal!
We LOVE Contigo's Autoseal! We've tried many brands/designs... Contigo's stainless steel Autoseal is by far the best in every way! The insulation keeps hot drinks HOT and cold drinks COLD, longer than any other. The spill-proof design is flawless. The container can roll around in your vehicle and not leak a drop! Drinking is simple & natural as the button to open the valve is right where you naturally grip the container... just press as you tip your head back. The entire container is dishwasher safe and does not appear to be susceptible to failure as other brands' seals tend to become misshapen after dishwashing. The stainless interior doesn't absorb flavor so you can transport coffee in the a.m. and fill with ice water in the p.m. ...just don't use too much ice! ...it takes a long time to melt! We do prefer the stainless exterior as painted exteriors tend to show signs of wear. FYI... AVEX is another brand with the same Autoseal design, although more $$.
