Organic Liver Freeze Dried Chunks — High in Natural Iron, Vitamin A, B12 for Energy (120g)

I bought this because of dietary and health needs which have made it a vital concern that I get sufficient levels of Omega-3 and vitamin A. Because beef liver is considered the best, most dense source of these nutrients, and I'm not about to cook anything that can't be easily prepared in a microwave, this seemed like my best opportunity.I actually started out eating the suggested three-ounce serving dry, and right out of the bag -- and while that's quite possible to do, it's no culinary delight -- but it still tastes better than the liver my mother forced me to eat, once a week, many years ago. I've read quite a few reviews that say they "hated it" or that it "tastes like dog food." Although I've never tasted dog food, it definitely looks like dog food!Then, one day, I had the idea to throw 3-6 oz in a tiny pyrex bowl, fill the bowl halfway with water, add salt, stir, and microwave for about 1:30. The resultant salty broth with tender liver bits is actually quite tasty! I also followed their advice to add it to other foods by throwing the pieces into my ground beef. Even though the ground beef was tender, the liver bits were tough. I solved that problem by soaking them for about fifteen minutes before adding them to other dishes.The only ingredient in the bag is "100 %grass fed Australian-sourced beef liver." So, it's definitely a "whole food." At 40 three-ounce servings per bag and significant ease of preparation, I believe it's a great value for the price.

I can’t really blame the product because it tastes like liver. But…it has no seasoning. The instructions tell you to add some and that helps but when I first opened it, I didn’t read that. Minimally it needs salt and a lot of water to wash it down.

I love liver and I thought it'd be convenient to have them in a handy form for snacks when om the go. They taste horrible and stick to your teeth like gum.Yes, you get all the nutrition that comes in liver but if you cannot stand it fresh you will definitely not stand its dried version (this is coming from a fresh liver eater/lover)

This product is excellent and is exactly as described. I'm always on the go, have limited time to cook, and am always looking for better ways to get liver in my diet. These taste as good as freeze dried liver could. They are not flavored.I ate a bag. It's a perfect filling, and vitamin packed snack.I'm ordering more and will take them everywhere with me.If you are going for taste, it's probably not going to be your thing. But if you are going for a healthy snack, it couldn't be better!10/10 would recommend and buy repeatedly.

It's pretty gross. It tastes like what dog kibble smells like. Some pieces have leather like strings that can't be chewed and kind of make you choke.

Actually This is totally delicious. 4 gross liver eeuu haha I will definitely be ordering more. Hope you widen your horizons on the other organ meat, please. Anyway, God bless you a thousand times over.
