09 Honda Fit Ignition Coil Review
Oem direct fit. Smooth, easy install, better mileage, fuel efficient and fast shipping. Worked great on my 09 Honda Fit.

Genuine Hitachi Coils
Match exactly to the coils I removed from my 2013 Honda Fit. Went in snug, but not tight enough to worry about them sticking which I expected because these are the same as the OEM coils. Decent price. No complaints.

Great price for 4
Good price for all 4, been running them for about 8k miles with new NGK plugs. No misfires so far.

2009 Honda Fit. Perfect fit.
It is a perfect fit for my 2009 Honda Fit. It was miss firing. Car has 197k miles on it. New ignition coils, and spark plugs. It runs just fine know.

2009 Honda Fit. Genuine Hitachi coils. this is the later style.
Ck your retaining clip and corresponding retainer on coil itself, retaining pin on top of these coils is approximately 2 MM or 3/16 inch. On the 2007/2008 coils , this retaining pin is much narrower (closer to .5mm . This is shown if you look closely at the pictures on the items. These did not fit my 6 /08 Honda Fit. The aligning runners on the sides of the electrical connectors is "offset" on these coils as opposed to in the center on the 07/08 coil. Again , check connector pics for details

Went out in 4 months.
Did all my research and reviews on this part (oem was a plus). Purchased on July 29, 2025. Four months later already started misfiring on that same ignition coil. ONLY HAS A 30DAY RETURN WARRANTY. Better off purchasing one at a local parts store with 1to3yrs or even lifetime warranty.

fixed my car
09 honda fit sport. my car was misfiring and within a couple of days (while waiting for the part to arrive) the car was unable to accelerate beyond like 20 mph and was all shaky and felt like it was dying. a friend was with me when the misfiring began and suggested it could be one of the ignition coils. checked online and it was a common issue. called the dealer and they wanted $139 for just one coil i didnt even ask for a quote to do the repair so i ordered 4 from here for less than the price of 1 from the dealer and maybe half of what the autoparts stores wanted for it. the repair was a little involved requiring me to take off the wipers and cowling between the windshield and hood and then another shield where the cowling and windshield wiper motor were attached to and even then the coils were still difficult to access and replace. but w/e i managed to do it and the car worked great again!

So far so good after 4 months
Fixed a misfire in my Honda Fit (common issue for these). Much cheaper than an OEM. Easy to install.

If you smell a wiff of gasoline on startup from the HVAC vents, feel a mild shake at idle and can hear some sputtering every so often at the exhaust tip, chances are that your spark plugs have loosened and likely have damaged the ignition coils in the process. This item is a direct replacement for the OEM Honda parts and at a far better price ($130 @ Canadian Tire/Part Source/NAPA for inferior products and $350 per coil at Honda itself; funny that Hitachi makes this exact product for Honda and you will see the brand name on the side when you pull the old ones out). Changing out your coils (and spark plugs, because of how tedious the replacement process is so you might as well do them both) is an easy maintenance item that will prolong the life of your car and protect you from the famous spark plug ejection that these cars get with higher kms. Hoping to get at least 150,000km out of these coils but seems like these engines are a bit rough on these components so I'd recommend replacing spark plugs and coils at 150,000km maximum intervals (earlier if symptoms show) as the maintenance minder is far too optimistic. As a precaution, pay the extra hour of labour every few years and get them to check your spark plug torques (8.7 ft.lbs for the bolts, 20 ft.lbs for the spark plugs).

Great Ignition coil, exactly what I was looking for

I bought these to replace the old ones in my CRZ, they're the same as OEM and are seem to be the best value.

Exact OEM coil pack for Honda Fit 2013. Mine was hesitant to start and accelerate, my CEL went on and the code show multiple misfires (P0300) on cylinder two (P0302) and three (P0303), so I decided to change the coil pack as suggested on the forums. When performing the replacement, I found that I had two spark plugs that was a little unscrewed and there was some trace of combustion on the coil pack. In fact, I could only clean the spark plug and coil pack and I would have been fixed, but considering that access to these components is not obvious, I decided to change everything. Now my engine is roaring like brand new ! If you own this Fit generation and you got some stuttering or hesitation, check out your spark plugs first. Seems a very common problem unfortunately.
