Possible differences between K Cups. Hint of Vanilla Hazelnut -Hint of Suggestion?
The first one I tried was profoundly weak. I could barely smell it as coffee.I tried some more after 'literally' opening up the tin lid and shoving my nose in it and getting a whiff. These other ones tasted a bit more strong, however, I can only taste vanilla or hazelnut when I seek it mentally. If it never said what this was supposed to be flavored I'm unsure what I would have come up with.Other flavored coffee leaves an aroma others can notice. "Cinnamon? Sugar Cookie?" etc. This? No.However, for a decaf and something to just casually sip on it's been nice, including the price as less expensive than most.

❤💕❣💖👍👍100 Year Roasting History - the Way Coffee is Meant to be Enjoyed👍👍💖❣💕❤
Of all the products, I think I'm the MOST qualified to review this product; here is a little background before I provide my product review: 🤞🤞🤞🤞Background🤞🤞🤞🤞🤞 I grew up in the second largest French Speaking Metropolis (outside of Paris, of course) of Montreal, Quebec, CANADA on Van Houtte coffee. Back then, Starbucks just at its infant stage and not yet quite omnipresent as it is nowadays, I don't know how many nights I spent at Van Houtte café working on my masters thesis with many other University of Montreal students on cold winter nights. Remember, French Speaking Montreal, and Quebec in general, like the French, has long coffee drinking history and culture, and Van Houtte as a Master Coffee Roaster and Café has been around for over 100 YEARS - now, how many coffee roasters ANYWHERE can claim: 👍👍 Over 100 years history (since 1919) 👍👍 Official coffee provider of Cirque du Soleil Touring Shows in Canada 👍👍 Named after French-born founder Albert-Louis Van Houtte Unfortunately, as more and more other coffee chains sprouted up about 10 - 15 years ago, most famous & successful Starbucks from the U.S. or even fellow Canadian roaster Second Cup from Toronto, etc, Van Houtte café suddenly disappeared from the coffee roaster landscape, for a while, I couldn't find one easily without the help of Google, as Starbucks and Second Cup have taken over the market. Now that I've moved to California, I still miss the sipping memories of Montreal at Van Houtte Cafés. Regrettably, I couldn't find it in supermarkets or online at the time. TODAY, through Amazon's Vine Voice Program, I felt like I just hit the Powerball jackpot - Van Houtte Coffe not only is now available in the U.S., but they even make coffee pods!THE VERDICT👍💋👍💋👍💋 When I was still living in Montreal, I'd NEVER go to any of the more well-known franchise coffee chains IF a Van Houtte Café is within reach, their coffee is just much more robust, darker roast, and most importantly, you just can't beat their taste - THAT's Coffee the way it's meant to be enjoyed! Like the French-born founder AL Van Houtte, take it from a fellow Montrealer, it's THE best coffee money can buy!

Weak and slightly flavored coffee
This coffee for my single cup brewer produces a very thin almost tasteless cup of coffee. Even the aroma only hints of the flavor. I like a robust cup of coffee. This doesn't satisfy me.

Very artificial
If you like your coffee very sweet you might be into this. We like our coffee a little sweet but this was too much. It was a cloying artificial berry flavor that was just too much. It was ok with with a couple shots of espresso but otherwise too much artificial flavor. Even on 8oz serving.

Is good decaf possible? Hard for K-cups coffee to impress us. . .
We all have our favorite K-Cups. I’d like to share impressions of this newer offering from one of Keurig’s house brands from my wife and I, two hard to impress coffee connoisseurs. Our typical morning cup consists of grinding freshly roasted beans from a heralded local roaster, then brewing in a top-rated Bonavita drip coffee maker. Our beloved Bonavita is among a small group tested and approved to brew at proper temp by the Specialty Coffee Association. (SCA).We used to turn up our noses are K-Cup coffee, but as life never stops speeding up, we have come to appreciate the best K-Cups, especially in the office, but also at home when we’re under a time crush. Getting good decaf ones seems next to impossible. Many K-Cup buyers know that Green Mountain purchased Keuring and owns many of the brands you find in local stores. This one, Van Houtte is well known in Canada where these are manufactured, but not in the U.S. You’ll love this one if you like mild to medium flavored coffees with no bite. This one is as smooth as it gets and really enjoyable. The hazelnut is the dominant flavor note while the vanilla is subtle. For decaf, you have a winner here. Also, I have recently reviewed an excellent full caffeine hazelnut from CAFESPRESSO that is terrific. Here’s the link:https://www.amazon.com/review/R1TSF0JICG4JA4/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B07ZQCV7Y3Here’s a second review comparing Gevalia, and Dunkin Donuts, two of the best of the K-Cup producers? Here’s a link to my comparison test of those tasty supermarket brands:https://www.amazon.com/review/R33MWOKK8TFK2X/ref=cm_cr_srp_d_rdp_perm?ie=UTF8&ASIN=B07SFZP56FHope this has been of some small help. Happy Brewing to you and yours!

Not a Hit with the Decaf Drinkers
I got this as a nice change of pace for my decaf drinkers. The vanilla hazelnut aroma was too strong and lingered.Back to unflavored for us.

Van Houtte Vanilla Hazelnut Decaf K-Cups
Although artificially flavored, these vanilla hazelnut decaffeinated k-cups have a surprisingly decent flavor. I usually keep a little decaf coffee on-hand for a late night brew but this brand I was unfamiliar with was pleased to have a flavored option.K-cups are designed for convenience not exceptional coffee but some varieties are better than others and this one is not disappointing delivering a good smooth coffee taste blended with the hazelnut and vanilla. To estimate shelf-life the Best By date is 10 months in the future, but dates will vary.

Tastes like cough syrup
This is dreadful stuff. It has a nasty medicinal, chemical undertaste and a ferociously obnoxious, lingering aftertaste. Yuk.Buy this flavored coffee at your own stomach’s risk. Or just pick up a bottle of Vick’s Cough Syrup and add it to your morning coffee for an equally refreshing experience.
