Purchased for coffee and tea, nice looking and sturdy. Just what I was looking for.

I am a minimalist and am thrilled when a product has multiple uses. These large cups can be used for hot tea and coffee, for oatmeal, ice creme, yogurt, etc. They are simple, sturdy, minimalist and very useful. They'd also make nice holders for artist brushes or lots of pens and pencils.

Update: Purchased these mugs in April, really comfortable to hold and the 20 oz. size Is the perfect size. The white cups are beautiful. Unfortunately, it’s the end of May and the handle just broke off. I was looking for cups without lead, but I’m wondering if removing the lead, makes the porcelain weaker. I’ve had ceramic and porcelain mugs for 40 years, never had the handle separate.

initially, I only gave these mugs three stars. They are a great size, but the handle on one of the mugs came loose after only three months. I contacted American Homestead and they immediately sent me a new set. Perfect! Love these mugs!

I use large mugs to heat home-prepared, frozen meals in the microwave. These are the best I’ve found! They’re a generous size and sturdy, but not too heavy, and the handle doesn’t heat up.I appreciate the classically sophisticated white color coupled with the elegant half-heart handle.I will be purchasing additional sets!

I bought these for my BF for the size and so he would stop stealing my favorite mug. He really does like them and is using them instead of my favorite. So, so far so good.

The cups had irregularities, maybe cuz they are hand made.But the glazing wasn’t right on the lip of one cup and had a very sharp edge.They also felt easily breakable/chip able.Not worth it for the price.

We have gotten rid of our 8 and 10 oz cups as to get a half decent amount, you end up filling them too much and getting spills. These 20oz cups are great. Provides one big cup of coffee or whatever.We use them for the kids too and only half fill them. They have a pretty solid weight which also helps to avoid spills. Microwaveable and dishwasher safe are a must around here. Nice elegant look.
