Emeril, Big Easy Bold Coffee, Single-Serve Keurig K-Cup Pods, Dark Roast, 48 Count (2 Boxes of 24 Pods)

I am picky about my coffee being dark and rich but without the burnt taste of a starbucks roast. Found it in this bold coffee pod for sure. This coffee is all I drink at home and as a gal in New Orleans I love the shout out to Emeril and the Big Easy. Give it a try. I think you'll agree.

This is my husband's favorite coffee. It's bold but not bitter. It will brew a 12oz cup and not be weak. I wish he made a decaf for me.

We have had the Keurig for about a year now, and have tried a variety of coffee - in search of one we could count on for breakfast everyday. We tried Dark Magic, Starbucks House Blend, Columbia, Starbucks Verona, Starbucks Veranda, Emeril's Big Easy,(this one), and a few others I really can't remember - I think they came in the starter pack (Costco). We have TWO Platinum Keurig's, one in NYC and one in Florida.I've read lots of reviews, both on Amazon and independent sites. My conclusion is: Although the reviews give you 'some' idea of the taste/brew, you have to try it yourself to determine your satisfaction. I happen to drink my morning coffee with a 'touch' of half & half, NO sugar or sugar substitute. I have an average of 2 cups in the morning, when NOT pressed for time.Results for Big Easy, to date: I did NOT like the Emeril's (this version) it was strong but had an edge that I did not like. My favorite so far is Dark Magic, strong and smooth. But, after my initial 100 cups of Dark Magic, I was dismayed to find out the new packaging (I had the original green label) was changed along with the coffee content (although Keurig denies it) to the brown label. Some folks indicated a change in coffee flavor and strength with the new label/content. I don't have first hand knowledge of any change in flavor yet, I'll probably buy some to test.My wife and I are split: she likes the Starbucks Verona (not Veranda) and I've tried it with good taste results, but it's pricey. Next I'm going to try Newman's Fair Trade Special blend - it says it's medium/dark coffee, and is strong but smooth, but it's NOT indicated as EXTRA BOLD (read: extra coffee in the pod) - I'll be the judge of the taste!!!BTW: as for Decaf - after 6PM I go for the Decafs. I found Dark Magic Decaf and Newman's to be my favorite. Newman's a little less jittery for that late night coffee.

We are a coffee loving family & very picky and mostly stick with the mega seattle based coffee Co but the price is getting ridiculous so on a whim I decided to try this & OMG OMG no lie it delicious and full bodied with no funny after taste! I am shocked & have made both coffee & espresso shot iced coffees that taste wonderful! I am happy to find something comparable to the Mega Seattle Chain to Support but I hav an idea it's the same coffee just with this guy's name on it :) Go for it you won't be disappointed at all!

Although I usually enjoy medium roast coffee, there are days when I need something more robust. That’s when I brew up a cup (or two) of Emeril’s dark, French roast.So if you like your coffee more on the ‘rocket fuel’ side but without the usual bitterness and ‘bite’, Emeril’s is the coffee for you.
