21 Bridges (STX) [Blu-ray] [2019]

19 years ago the young Andre attends his fathers funeral, his father an NYPD Cop hadbeen killed in the line of duty.Now, in present-day, Andre Davis (Chadwick Boseman) who'd carried the grief with himover his father's death all these years is, himself a Cop with a reputation for killing Cop-Killers.Two small-time criminals take on a job to steal cocaine from a dealer, they will find thereto be a whole lot more at the premises than they'd imagined, they bag-up what theycan carry, however during the course of the robbery Police turn up, a shootout insideand outside the premises will leave 8 officers down.Ray ( Taylor Kitsch) and Micheal (Stephan James) become America's most wanted.....Andre is given the task of hunting the two down as quickly as possible, fellow cop Frankie(Sienna Miller) assists Andre in the chase overseen by Captain McKenna (J.K Simmons)Andre orders that the 21 bridges of Manhattan are locked down to prevent the twocriminals from flying the coup.Andre rarely fails to deliver, however in the final moments of the chase he is given somesurprising revelations that he'll, as a good-cop have to see through.Some really good action and plenty of tension, certainly worth a glance

Not a bad film, but if your a film buff, then not the sort of film you need to watch again and again, it's an old story of Police corruption with a twist and not much of one.

An action film set in New York that delivers the action and there is plenty of it. The central performances are fine and the set pieces work well, it just, for me, does not seem to hang together well and I should have cared about the characters but I found it hard to do so. I am so pleased that this was not CBs final film....He is great in it, but that is not enough to maker me want to watch it again.

I missed the cinema screening last September and was waiting for the DVD release. It was worth the wait. A sure must see.

Brought for my son who said it was an excellent film

A very good movie I really enjoyed watching it on Blu-ray

A lot of shooting but I found this movie so boring that I fell asleep, twice. A big disappointment because I had been trying to get hold of it for ages. So I pulled out My copy of the original Beverly Hills Cop and watched that for the hundredth time Instead.

Not a great movie but not a bad movie either
