It’s hardware cloth. What’s there to say?

I use a lot of hardware cloth, and yes, I did buy this because of the price. Turns out it is worth less. The consistency of the wires, welding and pattern are not very good. Several voids and overlaps. Welds do not seem to be as strong

I wasn't sure if this was going to be flexible enough to wrap around my dog cage. I was using the cage for growing tomatoes since we have a lot of squirrels where I live, but the critters easily got through the holes. I decided to line the outside with this 1/4" mesh. The word "cloth" is deceiving. This is strong stuff, but at the same time, it IS flexible! I covered the cage with the hardware cloth and secured the strips with zip ties. No chance even those dinky ground squirrels can get in now. No worries, the bees can still get through the 1/4" squares to pollinate the tomatoes, and I can help by shaking the plants a little. Squirrels cannot chew through this steel hardware cloth! Great purchase! BTW, it cuts like butter with "Crescent Wiss 9-3/4 Inch MetalMaster Compound Action Snips - Straight, Left and Right Cut - M3R " purchased on Amazon.P.S. At my new house I'm going to surround my entire vegetable garden with this stuff, including the top. No more critter issues.

Probably my fault. I thought I had ordered a heavier gauge mesh. When the product arrived, I was anxious to win my ongoing nineteen year pitched battle with the critters, especially after Mama Skunk and her kits drove out the black snakes (nice) and groundhog (not nice) this past summer. Ten yards of trenching a foot deep and a foot wide, masonry anchors, mesh laid in an L shape 12" deep and 12" horizontal to avoid undermining, and backfilling. It was miserable in the heat, but I am not sure I have ever taken such pride in a maintenance project.The wildlife cam reveals that the ginormous rabbit with teeth like pliers made three aborted attempts on my defenses along the porch before going all in....as in straight in. (See the picture for yourselves.)The product is well made, just not the right gauge to put off large, male rabbits with teeth like razors--the way they are down here in Virginia. ;-) Rabbits don't hibernate, but they do have an eye for a comfy den in a nice neighborhood where the rents are reasonable.I am sure this product is perfect for many applications, and I have a good deal left and will find an appropriate use for it. But for now....this engagement was lost. The war continues. I need to get the critter out safely, then invest in some heavy armor and retrench.Some day I'll tell you all about the groundhog as big as a pig under the shed. This is a two-front war.

I used this for a quail pen project and it's perfect for any size quail from newborn to adult. It's strong and "chew-proof" so your pet won't get through this wire. It's a smaller mesh but there is plenty of ventilation through it and since I have plenty left over I am putting it on another project as well. Unlike chicken wire that we’ve used previously, this hardware cloth holds its shape. In an area where the bunnies and jackrabbits eat everything green, and if they don’t, the deer will. We’ve got an open fence (5” square metal welded to metal frame) around our backyard area (rural) that was designed to keep javelina out. Wasn’t banking on the hungry bunnies! Will order more to line the bottom of that perimeter fence with this hardware cloth so as to not have to wrap things individually. A plus, if we run it all the way down to the dirt, we should keep most of the snakes out too. Gotta love Arizona!

I got this screen to use as gopher protection under my new raised garden beds. It is nice and thick and I expect it should keep my garden beds protected for many years. I just attached it to the bottom edge of the beds with a staple gun. It is nice and thick, but also cut fairly easily with tin snips. One word of advice, be sure to wear good work gloves because the screen is stiff with sharp edges, making it easy to get lots of cuts and scrapes when you are working with it. This was a lesson I had to learn the hard way.

I used this Hardware Cloth to secure the area beneath my ground level deck from small animals. It is very easy to install with a stapler. It is also bendable so that you can conform it to corners. Highly recommended.

Product was as advertised and came promptly

I used it around the deck skirt to stop mice from entering underneath. I dug a 1ft trench all around and screwed the netting in place. It works, I haven't seen any animals get inside. So, it seems to do what I bought it for. The price/value of this can't be beat.One part of the netting had a minor tear in it. Also the spacing of the squares is not uniform, with some squares larger than 1/4 inch and some smaller. So quality control is an issue.

Used this mesh for added rodent control around outside of building. Worked great for the task. Beware that when you unpackage it, the edges are sharp. Use gloves.

Enclosed the base of my deck

This stuff is excellent for protecting plants from birds, rabbits and bugs. The fine mesh construction keeps out butterflies so your plants remain caterpillar free. Make simple circles, cut a lid and you have plant guards for years to come. Fine enough to cut and shape, yet sturdy to stand alone and hold it's shape. A fantastic product for not much money.
