If I get an aqara m2 hub that supports Alexa will this work with Alexa?

No, it won’t. The Alexa Integration does not see it as a Device (doesn’t pick up any of my vibration sensors).

Will this work with any zigbee hub?

Despite what “Aqara Official UK” says. I’m using many Aqara Zigbee products with a generic Zigbee hub. Isn’t that the whole point of Zigbee? 😊

Is this alexa compatible? and can this use the deco m9 as its hub?

Sorry, the Aqara Vibration Sensor is not compatible with Alexa. We do not support the Deco M9 hub. An Aqara Hub is required.

Can you isolate the tilt/vibration/drop? as i'm looking to add it to my door letterbox (uk), so only want it to notify on tilt, not vibrate or drop.

Yes, you can test for each condition separately. Many of our customers have reported using it for their mailboxes.
