worth every penny.
This is a great kettle. Lovely looking too.. i think the temperature control part is a fab feature. Especially when doing latte, cappuccino, etc. Its also great value for money. Quite fast boiling too and quiet. Would highly recommend..

Lovely kettle
This kettle really is lovely, it boils quietly and the temperature settings are a great idea as well as time-saving. It looks good and the different colours are great as well as a safety warning. Personally, I find the on/off switch a bit awkward as it seems to have to be pressed at a precise angle. On the whole, I'm really pleased with it and would buy it again, it's definitely good value for money.

Best kettle in a long time for value and product
Excellent, lightweight, doesn’t give you steam burns when pouring. Fantastic reasonably priced kettle. Boils fast and easy to use . I’ve bought expensive kettles in the past ,this little kettle is fabulous far out beats the well known name brands and expensive ones to. That’s the advantage of amazon if not completely satisfied, you can get a exchange or refund. I have arthritis in my hands and have no trouble lifting or filing this kettle

Decent kettle
Does exactly what you need it to. We wanted a multi-temperature kettle, this does the business. Looks pretty good (it’s a kettle, hard to get too excited). We have another Cuisinart variable temperature kettle which is probably slightly better than this one - but nearly 3 times the price. Takes a little while to automatically switch off when boiling, but I can live with that.

Temperature control is so handy
I'm forever making a coffee or a green tea and leaving it to cool enough for me to drink ... then I forget about it and it goes cold. Not any more. The 70 degree setting is spot on for me to get an instantly drinkable coffee or tea. Options are super easy to use. Hit the power button once for a standard boil or tap the +- to cycle through the temperature options the tap the power button to start. Boiling is much quicker than my old kettle and the design seams to naturally keep the water warmer after its boiled making the next boil even quicker. LED lights are way more subtle than the product photos imply but thats ok. Speaking of their photos the pictures dont do it justice. It look much nicer and less plasticy. The spout has a great direct pour with no spills or splashes. The lid has a solid snap mechanism that opens fully so no issues filling the kettle either. Sure it was a bit more expensive than my last kettle but its a great buy.

Appears to offer great value, but has safety issues
This kettle appeared to offer great features, but unfortunately had a number of issues which meant that I had to return it. It looks good, and the glass body allows you to see easily the amount of water added. It boils quickly, and the variable temperatures are useful for different drinks. However I found it to be very noisy when boiling water and it vibrates on its base as it reaches boiling point. The kettle then continues to boil for nearly 20 seconds before turning off, causing boiling water and clouds of steam to be ejected from the spout. Due to the small holes in the spout limescale filter it is a bad pourer of water if you try and pour too quickly, as water comes out of the lid and over the sides of the spout. By removing the plastic filter it is possible to reduce the scalding risk, but it defeats the purpose of having the filter. We tried to live with the issues for a few days, but felt the inefficiency, clouds of steam and risk of scalding were too much. So despite the Netta being good value, we decided to spend twice the amount to buy the Bosch Styline which has proved to be far superior and safer. It proves that you have to pay for quality.

Best kettle I had to return
Netta Electric Glass Kettle is a superb product. It heats up water really quickly, it's really quiet, looks great and doesn't "shake" on it's stand when water is about to boil. The only minus of this product is that that it leaks from its metal strip around the top of the glass. It's dangerous. It's a burning hazard especially when you have small kids or pets running around. Shame

Good Value Kettle
Most kettles I buy seem to have issues of one sort or another for me but this Netta Kettle is very good for the money though not without minor niggles. Pros: Boils reasonably quickly Like being able to see how much water there is easily Temperature Control is nice and works reasonably well when there is more than 1L in the jug heating to within 2 or 3C of the target temp. Pretty coloured lights :) Cons: Spout won't pour quickly. You have to pour slowly otherwise it dribbles down the outside of the kettle. Could have been fixed with a larger spout. When there is less than 1L in the jug the temp control is not accurate and can heat from 5 to 10C higher than indicated. But once you know this you can allow for it. As with most kettles the power lead to the base is FAR too short (I had to extend it). It's designed for counter tops where the plugs are almost next to where the kettle stands. The buttons are cheap and I suspect over a couple of years will probably wear out and become unreliable, however that's just my guess. Lots of condensation forms on the inside of the jug but this is to be expected for a glass jug kettle I think. I just mention it for those who may not expect it not having had a glass kettle before. It could probably have been mitigated by a larger spout which would also have fixed the slow pour rate issue. BUT overall for the money it's excellent value and works well. So I would recommend overall unless any of the cons above are a deal killer for you. Really, I think perfect kettles (if such things exist) are probably in the ridiculous designer kitchen price bracket now which is sad but is the way things are. This is great for it's price which is very reasonable considering what it offers.
