Comfy
I’ve had my share of pads over the decades (self inflating, inflated, foam) and this one is the best, even much better than my narrower 5 year older Klymek pad. The width is very helpful but I don’t know why, it just seemed so much more comfortable. Only negative - takes a lot of air so it takes a while to deflate.

Works
Works and it’s comfortable, no back pain

Very wide and comfortable.
The comfort is definitely worth a little extra weight, I am in my 70’s. Only the valve system is a little strange but it didn’t leak.

New to Camping pads. 1st time KLYMIT V LUX
Deflates flat quick. Then folds, rolls up to fit easily into the sac it came in. Took a bit of puffing to fill.Next time I filled it fast & easy with my mini bike pump.

Much better than the original
I had to buy y this to replace the older model as the older model valves broker over time. The new valve is much better but it is slightly harder to inflate. The changes to the design make this MUCH more comfortable as well. I highly reccomend this over the smaller narrower model because this actually fits an normal adult.

Wanted to love it.
Ok. So I bought this because it was light weight, and sized for a sasquatch. I'm 6'5" 290lbs and am nearly 30" wide at the shoulders. I slept like a baby on this pad. However after 3 trips, it started leaking. I identified the source of the leak (a bad weld). Circled the leak and sent back to klymit. Klymit returned the pad a few weeks later. It had fresh glue on the valve and still leaked in the same spot. At this point I was irritated. I bought a thermorest pad for a trip to Maine and I had already bought another klymit pad for my wife before my issues. Her pad leaked at a weld day one of a week long trip. I gave her my pad (which was just a backup thermorest scout) and slept on the ground. I barely slept the whole trip, not did she as the scout pad didn't offer her much in comfort but was better then nothing.I still enjoyed my trip. Just had to embrace the suck. As much as I loved these pads...I just couldn't count on them nor the customer service. I still have the pads, moldering away in the closet. Looking for something better.

Comfortable, love the width.
Purchased this sleeping pad to use for car camping and it is great! The pad is easy to inflate. It took about 30 good breaths to get the firmness that I like. I really like the width of the pad, it gives you plenty of room to move from your back to sides without rolling off the pad. It stays inflated all night but still deflates easily and packs back into the included stuff sack with room to spare. I definitely recommend it.

Doesn’t hold air
Bought this early for a planned car camping trip to Big Bend National Park. Since I’ve had Klymit products in the past, I didn’t even think to test it before the trip. First night of my 5 night trip and it wouldn’t hold air. I used the Klymit electric air pump and checked the valve. It’s likely punctured without ever being used. Slept terrible the entire trip because I didn’t plan for a backup mattress. Out of the return window since I pre-planned for the trip. Klymit brand is hot or miss. Very frustrating and a waste of non-refundable money. Will try the patch kit, but that shouldn’t be needed BEFORE it’s first use.

Best Sleeping Pad on the Market
I am a side sleeper and have been looking for a product that is comfortable and keeps my hips from digging into the ground when I’m sleeping on my side when camping- this product is luxurious and is the best sleeping pad I’ve ever tried! I loved the product so much I bought one for my partner (she loves it) and have recommended it to all my friends who camp (all of those who have tried it have sang it’s praises). The process of inflating is what you’d expect for a 3” pad- but it super manageable if you pace yourself. The pad is easy to deflate and fold bag into its bag. Loo no further for your next sleeping pad!

No tiene una larga duración (aprox 3 meses )
Después de 3 meses de uso cada fin de semana la válvula ya no retiene el aire y se comenzó a despegar de los pliegues.

Good 3 season mat
Wasn’t sure if this had extra insulation or not but as I will be using it mainly not in winter, decided to go for it. Haven’t tried it outdoors yet due to travel restrictions. Inflated easily with small battery pump (flex tail gear tiny pump) just a few breaths to top up pressure. It is comfortable and you don’t touch the ground even with a “COVID waistline”. The extra width is good to stay on if you tend to roll over. I’m not convinced the sides are a barrier to rolling off, but the extra width helps a lot. Picture of the label on the stuff sack attached as it states the R value. Given likely usage and the comfort vs weight I kept it but the language regarding insulated for inflatable mats is not entirely clear. Every mat of any design is “insulated” in that they provide insulation. It would be clearer and of benefit to all customers if all descriptions clearly stated the R value and only advertise “insulated” if there is insulation material eg heat reflective layer over and above having air pockets. The rotating air valve seems to work well and holds air if seated correctly. Overall a very comfortable sleeping mat even for larger campers sleeping on their side. Would recommend for warmer months . I would describe this as a mid range mat, which fits the price point, it is much thicker and more comfortable than cheaters mats but not insulated in the way that more expensive mats are. If I plan on camping in winter I would probably get a higher R value mat or double this up with other insulation

Surprisingly comfy!
Was pleasantly surprised how comfortable the Klymit static v was. I'm on the bigger size (110kg) myself and have tried other air mattresses and stretcher beds but I found this the most comfortable. I also found it comfy being a side sleeper too. Definitely recommend getting the luxe size over the standard one because the extra width helps you stay on the mat if you like to turn throughout the night.
