Upon first inspection, the bag seems to be well made and the ability to expand is useful. I am pleased with capacity and the two front pockets are gusseted, which is a nice touch. There is also a discrete address tag on the back of the bag, which slides out. The inside is lined with a quite thin PVC type of material, but is probably adequate. The downside is that the pull up handle is flimsy and feels like it might break, although I have used it to lug across London and it stood up on first use. It wobbles about a bit and pulls out to full height first, then you have to push it back halfway to get it on the first set of pins for a shorter handle. I found using the longer handle easier to use and it travelled well on its two wheels across uneven footpaths. There is a both a side and top carry handle in addition to the extending handle and the bag itself is lightweight.. Unfortunately, when it is fully expanded, the bag has a slight tendency to topple when standing alone, nevertheless I did not find this too awkward whilst travelling on the train and tube. However, I would certainly recommend, in such circumstances, packing heavier items at the bottom of the bag which might help alleviate this problem. Another small gripe is that the main zipper has been made to accommodate a luggage padlock, but there isn't one included, so be aware that this will be an additional expense if you want to go down the path of securing your case contents. On the other hand, it could be argued that the facility is there is you want to use it, although I found the absence of the padlock disappointing after the design team had gone to the trouble of including such a zip and it wasn't the cheapest bag on the market. This might be something for the manufacturer to consider. It is otherwise a smart, well designed bag and I like the ability to expand so I have given it four stars for this reason. Sadly I am concerned how long the extending handle will last before pins break and it will be interesting to see how the case travels with a heavy load.

Arrived 2 days after order! Exactly as described. I'm sure will be perfect for our holiday! Haven't used it yet but appears to be just what I wanted.
