Bought for husband. He really likes it. Got the whole series

My wife & I have been solving North American cryptics puzzles for upwards of 10 years. Think Cox & Rathvon, Henry Hook, Wayne Williams, etc. Vol 4 of Times Quick Cryptics offers 100 puzzles with answers but no explanations. The lack of the latter sucks any joy from attempts to solve leaving smoldering, frustrated, would-be puzzle solvers. At best "quick and easy" for university educated Brits. Only masochistic North Americans should attempt. One assumes Vols 1-3 in the series are the same, but once bitten twice shy.
