Syntrax Matrix Peanut Butter Cookie 5 lb Sustained‑Release Protein Blend

This was recommended to me by a local nutrition store (NOT a chain store btw). I have been ordering this continuously for the past couple years and have no reason to change to a different product. It includes all the BCAAs you need, as well as a few additional Amino Acids. It contains multiple types of protein, fast acting and slow acting proteins (so your body gets what it needs right away, but also over a longer time). It also has only 3g of sugar (per scoop)!! I'm not sure how, but it tastes amazing as well. AND the value for the price is off the charts (from what I've found so far). This, for me, is an easy pick, I don't need any other protein supplements. The other reviews are correct about the ziplock. Protein can get stuck in the grooves, which needs to be cleaned out before trying to zip close. I solve this problem by using old protein twist-top containers and filling them with the the contents of the bag. I keep one at work and one at home.

I've been a fan of Syntrax Matrix since I first tried it. It's definitely the best tasting protein around. The only thing that could make it better, I thought, was if they added some other more interesting flavors such as peanut butter or mocha. Well, they did, and it's everything I hoped for... It basically tastes like drinking a peanut butter cookie, especially if you mix it thick. I actually like when it doesn't mix all the way, because the grittiness enhances the similarity to cookies. One major downside is that at 150 calories per 24 grams of protein, this powder has relatively high calories compared to most protein powders. I'd say it's worth it unless you're on a very strict diet in which case you should go with their banana or vanilla flavor. Surprisingly fast shipping too.

This protein taste just like how it says. Awesome Protein, amazing for the price. I have been working out since 2011 and this protein is by far the best/$$ and per Aminos as well. 100g roughly 2.5 scoops delivers 10 grams of glutamine! :O I ordered 1 and just ordered 2 more! The taste is 9/10 and sometimes clumps up if not shaken properly but it's amazing and I highly suggest it for all lifters/bodybuilders/fitness people. But I have a question, why did the price go up over 20%? One of the reasons why this protein was good was the protein gram/$$$ made it very special and unique. I'll continue to buy if price changes, if it stays then I am not sure if I'll be able to continue my orders.

I'm on my third bag of this stuff! It is delicious and keeps me full after workouts but before my next meal. Supposedly is good for muscle repair as well...but obviously that's hard to judge. Small complaint is that once you open the bag, it's hard to reveal. Take a toothpick and run it down the middle of the "female" side and it will seal back up perfectly. Also, I noticed that the first bag we got had lots of cookie pieces where as the last two didn't as many. Still so good though! Will continue to buy!

I like the taste and amount of protein. Mixes well with milk in a shaker bottle. This product was recommended to me by a friend who did lots of research to find the best product. Great product. I love the peanut butter cookie taste. I'm a senior citizen and need protein. This supplies the protein and my muscles are firm. I get compliments from many younger men and women.

This is my husbands favorite! He says it is the best protein mix that he has ever tasted. It actually tastes like peanut butter. The bag is very large, and affordable compared to other brands. He highly recommends it. A few of his coworkers have ordered it also and they love it. My husband is very satisfied, and he will be ordering more in the future.
