Solidly built, full they are a little to heavy to move(10 gal). We have a smaller back yard and with the shut down and not wanting to go to the stores as much as we have in the past we decided to put in a little Victory Garden and these are perfect for pole beans and climbing cucumbers.

These worked well for me. I grew carrots and broccoli in them. Very sturdy and held up to the weather nicely.

The weight and construction of this bag is above average. The weight of fabric allows for multiple uses. It holds up under full sun . For plants like Epiphillums and Clivias that like the roots crowded but are suseptible to root rot, this is the perfect solution. Airflow is optimal. Transplanting is less stressful from bag to pot. Recommended

I will update this review later in the season. These bags arrived in good condition. They seem sturdy and thick enough. I've never used anything like these before so I have nothing to compare them to. I've filled them with dirt and I've planted my tomato plants. I have watered several times. I've moved them myself (I'm a 60 year old woman) using the handles. I am really intersted to see if they hold up in the Texas heat and if they last for more than one season. I am new to gardening and didn't want to invest in building a raised garden or buying expensive pots to hold my tomatos so I am trying these.

so far these are the best quality bags in their price range that i've found. i was looking for a grow bag that would stand up on it's own when empty. this is essential when having to shovel in dirt on your own. i use the bags to pick up compost in bulk at the fertilizer company. i purchased the gardenz bags and they were very flimsy compared to these. they would completely flop inward making it difficult to fill the bags without having someone holding them open. the viparspectra bags are only a few dollars more but worth twice as much. i would highly recommend these for someone looking for a high quality bag to grow in or for transporting compost and mulch!

This is perfect for cauliflower cabbage or broccoli. This is my 1st season gardening and 1st time using grow bags and I am loving everything about these grow bags. One flaw about the grow bags is that they do not hold moisture very well even with a good compost soil mix and mulch you still have to regularly water your plants but its not a big of a deal to me because this gives me time to check my plants for pest and diseases.

They seem about as sturdy as a cloth pot can be. Good price, quick delivery. They require at least a 22 inch saucer. (I use hot water heater pans instead.) My old 15 gallon plastic pots fit inside these pots. They are BIG! I think next time I'll try the 10 gallon pots. I plan on using the leftover ones to grow potatoes next year.Grow bags need to be elevated from their saucers for best results. Leaving them in full contact with a plastic saucer is not ideal and may contribute to mold and mildew issues.Good luck y'all!

Love these. Have tomatillos, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant, cabbage and herbs planted in these. Seems like the felt fabric discourages snails and slugs (but not other pests) The water drains out of them when watered too much but they retain some moisture. So, they don’t need any gravel or anything at the bottom like you might do with ceramic or plastic planters. The tops can be folded down if you need a shorter pot. Easy to drag them around during the day for optimal sun.

These bags almost feel like 2.5-3gal pots. But that is not a complaint at all. I appreciate them all the same. It is all about oxygen to the root zone. Increased porosity will be helpful for my purposes.

I love the durability of these grow bags. Saturated soil does nothing to this planter bag when moving. Comes with convenient handles for easy transport. No need for transplanting over and over to bigger pots. Simply plant once in these (20 gallon) fabric planters and watch your plant thrive! Multi purpose can be used for any flower, fruit or vegetables, even shrubs, young saplings and even a compost holder. Why not compost directly in this fabric planter add some soil , mix and you're good to go! Natural organic soil direct from your yard and kitchen waste. Your garden will thank you for using these pots.
