I personally really like this door. It was very easy to install, I like the magnetic at the bottom, I like the fur hair things on the side, and the multiple different locks, however my cat got his paw pinched three times with the door. I ended up removing the magnet, and the fur hair things on the side. It is for inside, so those features, while I liked them, weren't necessary to have. The door moves at lot more flowy now and he's able to go through the door a lot easier now and I don't have to worry about his toes getting stuck while I'm at work. Good door but his poor toes.

Installed this in a window for the kitties to access the screen porch area for “outside time”. Purchased a plank of sturdy wood and sized it to fit the window width. Wish the door had come with a template! We used the door to pencil out an area but had to re-cut it several times (better too small than too large a cut!). Easily sliced off two of the sections from the door that make the depth variable. Insert/screw in door and install the plank into the window with a layer of window seal foam from a roll, added in security posts to the top so the window can’t be opened from the outiside. This was so easy! It’s been up 7+ months with 3 cats in and out all day and night, zero issues. Easy to remove when we go out of town. Excellent purchase, happy kitties.

I'm a real fan of these cat doors. I bought two and installed them a month or so ago. They're much easier to install than the previous ones that I had, they seal tightly against each side of the door so they aren't drafty, they open/close quietly and the price was right. Good product!

I actually bought this for my chihuahua and it was easy to install. He can use it just fine but the locks are unreliable. Good value if you don't need to lock it.

So far it works well and satisfied with it. The size was good and sturdy. If you know how to install and prepare the window setups, etc, it is very functional. We are very happy with the product. Highly recommend!

We kept a gate at our basement door for our cats. My husband wanted to install a cat door so we could close our door. It was very easy to install. It took him about 30 minutes. Our cats were very unsure at first but now have no issues.

I purchased this last month to add a cat door to my basement. The first item arrived damaged, as the hinges for the door were broken. I received a replacement which had no issues. I eventually learned that the magnet isn't necessary for my needs and tended to catch my cats' tails as they went through, so I removed it. Without the magnet it still closes fine and remains in the closed position, but it's also easier for my cats to open. I planned to add a second cat door elsewhere so I bough this same model a month later, and in that time period it appears to have been updated slightly (further evidenced by the newer, arguably less detailed instructions). The magnets are now glued in, making it significantly more difficult to remove them without breaking the plastic door. Looking at earlier reviews it seems like several other people preferred this without the magnet as well, so it would have been nice if this change was not made and people could have the option to choose whether or not they want the magnet. If the door was removable that would also be beneficial to slowly acquaint your cats to going through the hole before requiring them to learn how to push the door, but instead I had to prop it open for a week.

It works great easy to install and my cats use it it took them a bit to figure it out but once they got it they got it.
