BBK 3515 1-5/8" Shorty Tuned Length Performance Exhaust Headers for Ford F Series F150 And Expedition 4.6L - Chrome Finish

I bought this headers back in December installed them In the beginning of January. First I was impressed with the quality, built and looks. However the passenger's side one is a pain in the @$$ to installed , even though I took the truck to my friends shop. For future reference start with the passenger's side first, and if you don't want to go back and retighten bolts, buy some locking header bolts (wish I did) lol. At the end you won't regret this specially when it makes your truck feel 10 years younger and gives your exhaust a little bit of deeper rumble even at stop lights is noticeable.

So I know BBK is the lower end of quality when it comes to headers, but I had a customer that was on a budget and needed new exhaust manifolds, these were dollars within factory manifolds and factory manifolds aren't available only aftermarket so we went with these, #1 they are NOT chrome coated they came with BBK's crappy paint that doesn't even stick to the manifolds, #2 after installation heard an exhaust leak at the manifold to exhaust pipe so tried tightening just a little more with a hand rachet, 2 welds broke on the flange to tubing and you can see under the weld it had zero penetration on the flange with rust underneath it, still got it to seal but won't last long, the weld broke due to the tubing being so thin they can't turn the heat up while welding to get good adhesion to the flange without burning through the tubing yet again won't last long, #3 once that leak was sealed we found another exhaust leak where all the tubes come together in the collector due to yet again poor welding, The major issue is it's 8 hours of labor to replace them again if we decide to have them warrantied so it would cost the customer another $1,000 to fix their poor quality headers, do not buy they claim to be USA made but at the point in quality that they produce it would be better to have China made headers at this point it would appear.

The media could not be loaded.  They were a pain in the ass to install , had to jack up the engine on the passenger side to get the stock stud bolt off . But totally worth it . Gave my truck great power gains and sounds badass , I also am running 3 inch cat back !

Little pricey.but needed C.A.R.B numbers to pass smog .california has to get there hands on the money anyway thay can.fed standerds is all we need.gettum trump! I just spent $600.00 or more just to get my car to pass .it passed out the tail pipe with the non c.a.r.b headers no problem.but visualy no inspecter needed c.a.r.b number for my other headers.bunch of bull....so got the bbk went bolted up great egr and pipes went right back together .tthat is after i put all the stork pieces back .because the cheaper headers "not the bbk" the first set of headers.didnt match up as perfect as the bbk.lesson learnd .if you live in cali go with bbk .much nicer the the cheap headers and pass smog.

Item was advertised as fitting a 2003 Ford expedition. After trying to install it it did not fit. I contacted the seller who in returned ask for the Vin number and part number of the item that I purchased from Dan reply back that the item did not fit my model expedition. I am currently waiting on my refund and if you’re buying for a 2003 expedition better contact the seller first
