This BRUSH IS FANTASTIC!
I don't have much from my dad, since he was taken from me when I was very little. But my mother found something of his when we were moving. It was so tarnished I was never able to fully clean all of the details. It's a cross with very fine details and writing.I am talking microscopic type of filigree around the border's of this cross that belonged to my father. I got this item a few years ago, even though my father has been dead since 2006. Nearly 20years of tarnish was on this item. I was scared to use any chemical cleaners on it because 1. it's not stamped and I couldn't really prove one way or the other what type of metal it was. If it was plated, solid, whatever. Just had no idea, and the thought of risking something so precious to chemicals was just not a risk i was willing to take.So I let it soak a couple minutes in ketchup, gently rubbed to clean it off real nice let it dry (it still had severe tarnishing on it but was much lighter). Then this kit arrived today, and i got straight to work. (actually pausing and using the brush while I type this review). Now this item has an indented border frame, which is tiny, i mean tiny. (you can see on the pictures). This brush is getting/has gotten all of the grime/dirt/tarnish out of it. It's cleaned up all of the engraved words, and really looks beautiful. In the first picture you can see the final polishing using the cloth they gave me, (YES THOSE BLACKISH LOOKING STAINS ARE NOT SHADOW, BUT TARNISH!)It went from black and bronzing to a beautiful silver. Can't be happier, (no cleaner was used).P.S don't mind the crappy rope chain, I have it on a rope chain because i never take it off. So you know those human oils are bad and tarnish silver very quickly. The last time I partially cleaned it was several years ago.. (Sorry I forgot to snap a picture of a 'before' next time i'll include one).Update: using google lense I managed to find a clone of this item, this is a vintage piece that has 'silvertone coating' it did not damage that coating.

Soft and made well
I purchased these to help clean up some jewelry and they were lovely. Very nice soft bristles with sturdy wooden handles. The polishing cloth is large and does the job. It is an excellent product.

Perfect for cleaning delicate silver
Exactly what I wanted to clean intricate silver. These brushes were just the right stiffness to clean without being abrasive. It was packaged very nicely too.

Extremely helpful!
These brushes really helped getting into detail when it comes to polishing silver. They get into all the tight, small places effectively and they do not scratch the silver.

Cleaning Grandma’s old sterling silverware
Why did you pick this product vs others?:I was looking for products to clean sterling silver silverware. All three items were needed. Polished first and used the horse hair brushes during the polish process then cleaned and dried and used the polish cloths for final step. They had lots of oxidation in the details. Brush quality:ExcellentShine:Absolute wonderful
