GILDEN TREETerra Cotta Body Loofah

I typically use exfoliator cloths to wash my body, but when I came across this terra cotta body loofah, I had to try it. Once you get used to it, it works well (put liquid soap directly onto the loofah, and work into a good lather on your skin). While it does exfoliate really well, I found it heavy, and hard to hold (I was afraid I would drop it and it would break), but I also scrubbed too hard on my chest, and had rough/dry patches for a week after (which never happens with my exfoliator cloths).

This was to hard for me to hold and use. I have arthritis and the shape was difficult for me hold and maneuver. It felt good but not easy for me to use.

The item itself seems good. It feels good to the touch and feel like it has done well. My issue is the handling of the package and overall treatment of it being shipped -- the item is fragile and unfortunately depending on how careful your delivery person is, can result in it being damaged. I audibly heard my delivery person toss the package at the foot of my door, and after opening it saw that it was broken. It's a shame that this item has an issue that Amazon itself is responsible for, so I can say if you can purchase something like this in person, to go that route as you may have your item broken before you even get to use it.

This arrived with the handle broken off,however it really does work. You do not need soap just water. I found that using it on an angle was more effective. After using this product I then washed with my regular soap and dried off and it definitely made a huge difference! I may buy another.

This body loofah leaves my body feeling so soft.

Just as advertised... Worth every penny

Normal loofahs and exfoliating washcloths both need constant washing or replacing to keep clean since they do not dry out quickly. The terra cotta loofah, on the other hand, dries out in seconds once the water is off. I just use soap and exfoliate with the terra cotta loofah and I feel it has done a much better job than the normal loofahs.

Works effectively and looks like it will stay mold free even if it’s in a high moisture area.
