Not Recommended
I normally don't leave reviews but I cannot recommend this product. Although it works fine, the material is not very UV resistant. At just over a year, the top blue part is deteriorating and the lid no longer locks in place. Previous chlorine dispensers have generally lasted two to three years before needing to be replaced.

Cheaply made, weak feeling plastic. I don't expect it to up
Somewhat disappointed when this was received. It seems to be very cheaply made. But I have it now and I'll use it till it falls apart and replace it with a better one.

Stays afloat with foam in the head. No leaks.
Works great because it has foam in the head. Ones without foam (just plastic "sealed" heads) almost always develop a leak & are useless. This one doesn't rely on air seal, it uses buoyant foam.
