After modifying a holster by removing some of the edge, applying this carefully to the fresh cut edge restored the original appearance. It also works to restore the edges of cowboy boot soles to like-new condition after they've been worn down and lost the original black color.

Love this edge coat! If I'm a little sloppy & get some on part of my project where it's not supposed to be, I can take a wet cloth and wipe it clean.. Even after it's dried.I usually have to use 2 coats to get a super smooth edge, but that's my preference

I bought a Disney Her Universe bag from a Hot Topic and it was obvious that the bag had been handled by a lot of people because there were frayed threads on the sides and some scuffs on the edges. I didn't think this was anything that I couldn't fix.So, I used some bent needle nose tweezers and stuffed the threads back in, then used Edge Kote to get in-between the allowance of the sandwiched pleather pieces. After a few layers, I topped the edges and cleaned up the scuffs.It looks like the fix was supposed to be like this. It looks great. Clean-up was easy too.I bought it here because I also bought a tool to help with this endeavor. You can buy this stuff directly from the manufacturer for less money.

Pretty good product. I had purchased it at the recommendation of a Youtube how-to video, to fix a new wallet with a large tear in it. My wallet is made from some kind of polyurethane pleather fabric, but was coated on the edges with a dull black "edge coat" where in one location, the edge had cracked and torn a small gap. I patiently applied the product with the point of a paperclip into the gap, coated more of the product over the filled-in gap, gently smoothed it with a nail file, and reapplied it, and the wallet looks almost as good as new -- you can't tell it was ever broken!My one word of caution is that this product is a bit glossier than the description suggests, which means that if you apply it on top of a duller black edge like I did, you can see a slight contrast between the dull and glossy edges. Just an FYI. Also, to be safe, make sure it dries overnight between coats because otherwise it could react like barely-dry nail polish where it bends when it touches something.

I've used this before and I've found it functional and reasonably priced. I would be quite comfortable buying again.

I used this to fix the trim on the straps of my Co**ch purse. It was easy to use and my bag looks like new again.

I was given a designer handbag because the handles were frayed on the sides. After watching a YouTube video, I bought this and used it per the instructions on the video. 5 thin coats. The handbag looks brand new!!!
