BAVEL Bicycle Stem Adaptor 22.2mm to 28.6mm for 1-1/8" Threadless Stem

It works, but definitely not the best option out there. I should have thought about it, but I really would prefer an adapter that can sit flush with my headset. It looks weird having such a big gap between the 1" and 1"1/8" section. It also limits my drop. I'll be switching to another option soon, and will move this one to a city bike.Aesthetics and drop aside, or works well. If you want an affordable adapter, you will be good with this one.

If you want to make you bike threadless and dont want to by a new for buy this its really good only downside is that it was a lil to long but i just cutted the extra and it looks Fine

The stem is marked as 22.2mm but the wedge is marked as 22mm. You can tell from the photos that there is a slight size differential. This means that while the stem will fit into a standard 1 inch fork, the fit will not be tight enough causing it to rotate. Giving it 2 stars because if you have an extra wedge lying around it might work. Quality of construction is not great.

Either this stem adapter or the stem itself is worthless. It constantly slips out of alignment which is very dangerous even if youre only out for a ride in a small village or going downhill no matter how tight you turn the tightening screws.

Great for simple threaded to threadless conversion. Center cap is hard to center when tightening down but affects nothing.

Easy to install and works great. As another review noted, the headset cap is hard to line up straight.
