This is well made lock, extra digits for security. Got what I was looking for.

This is a very good looking long neck combination lock. It looks good seems to function well the only question we would have is will it stand up to someone trying to break the lock with a or other type of instrument?

Pretty good for on inside of your gate as you can manuever from outside assuming you have light or a flashlight. Numbers fairly big and spin ok...I think there is a nub on each set of numbers. I ended up buying several to find this one and just kept them as locks are always handy for leaving out ladder, hand truck, weed wacker, etc. at least where I live adjacent to the alley. I wanted a lock where it was reasonably easy to get in although wben subzero I usually just use a heavy coated wire I have hanging on there as all locks freeze I believe. Plus with the recent 40 below windchill I have to get in the house. The crooks stay in when it gets super cold anyway. But this is good for the rest of the year. Around here the crooks are mostly young people looking for something to sell quicky. Anyway you can change combination fairly easy (I probably never will) and you can lock and unlock fairly easy and for sure get the long shackle so you can manuever it from the outside of the fence. The lock is good enough for a fence gate. What I wish though was that it would not only lock when the combination is exactly set to open as sometimes if you fiddle enough it gets off by say a digit. But all the ones I bought are the same in that respect. I bought about 6 different locks! Plus make sure you don't buy one with a shackle thicker than what your lock mechanism will accept. That was the first one I bought which I was too lazy to go back to Menards with so I have a deluxe Master waterproof combination lock here that I will use when my mower is outside which is only when I am not done with the lawn yet on the same day...not at night!

Opened the package - Read instructions how to set combo. Followed to the letter, but wouldn't close back after setting combo. Finally slapped it hard and it locked.....Now won't open at all for new combo, or the factory combo of all zeros....Useless.

I have quite a few of these on every gate to my yard. Easy to set & change combinations. I can give my gardener the combo when I go on vacation & then easily change it on my return.

When it locks, it locks in the code. be sure you remember the code or have it set correctly before locking.

This lock serves its purpose. It is easy to lock and unlock. Plus, changing the combination is very simple. I appreciate the raised notches on every zero. If needed, I could unlock it with my eyes closed, based on the raised zero and the way it feels as each number moves to the next. Without making noise, you can feel each number physically click into each pocket as you spin the digits. Good buy!

It works great on our cabinet. I really like how I can reset the code at any time. The notches stick out so that it's very easy to spin to open or reprogram.

Pros- easy to use Cons- jams up in cold conditions

As described. Easy to setup and a great product
