I am buying more of these!!!!
I love to be outside, but I have had multiple Basal Cell Carcinoma removed from my face. I am very fair skinned and have red hair, in other words a poster child for a sunburn ad. When I get burned I blister really bad. My lips swell and blister and I cannot eat or open my mouth for a week. I even had a MOHS surgery done on my nose. Luckily I had a wonderful plastic surgeon do the surgery. My husband and I love to off shore fish and I felt trapped on the re-applying sun block train from hell. I still wear sunblock, but I wear this almost the entire time we are on the water. We just got back from one week of vacation and fishing off shore for 4 of the 7 days, we were on the water from about 8 am to 2 pm. Two of the days I forgot to bring the sunblock on board and only had 2 different Hoo-Rags that I brought to try, this one and the one with skulls with Pink bows. I was really worried that I was going to be lobster red when we got back. I was already wearing UPF yoga pants and a UPF shirt that I knew worked, but this was the first time I was using the Hoo-Rag. When we got back to shore I was VERY pleasantly surprised. I was not burnt at all, not even a hint of pink.I love, love, love these and I plan on buying more. It was also nice to get back to shore and to not have to try to get a hairbrush through all the knots in my hair. This kept me free from sunburn and knotty hair. Double Bonus!!!

Bought This for My Housemate and He Likes It for Covid protection
With Covid now, I'm lucky enough to have a housemate who does all our grocery shopping. (Dec. 2020)A while back I got him a different gaiter (his preference-----he doesn't like masks) and that one was a little too big for him, kept slipping down off his nose.Got this one and he said this material is "lighter" (not as thick) but the fit is perfect. He feels it's working to keep him and others safe. He likes it.

So many ways to use it, you can't lose!
My son bought the Paisley Bandana nine months ago after losing his previous one, and he loves them!Typically, he's only worn them when he's out working on feature films shooting in the woods or in the Adirondacks, where he used this one. This one did the trick, and he hasn't had any problems with it. Since COVID, he's been using it now to cover his face, who knew!It can be used for so many things, but it's durable and has been put through a lot and has maintained it's quality.

Absolutely great!
I ordered 2 of these for my husband and I to use on our trip to the Grand Canyon. At first it fit a little tighter than expected but it worked out really well. We used it to cover our faces from the desert sand when we rented ATV's. I used it as a head band, my husband used it as a bandanna around his neck and on his head to protect from the sun. The other day I actually used it as a makeshift hat when I couldn't find my babies sun hat so I tied one end into a knot and it worked great. This item came in surprisingly handy in so many instances it was really fantastic.

Not the tops.
First of all, let me mention that I purchased many different brands of tube rags like this one. The Hoo-rag fit in (quality-wise) pretty much exactly where you'd expect. It is the second most expensive one that I saw and it was the second best rag that I got. It is a little small for my head and slightly shorter than the Buff brand one (the most expensive). The Hoo-rags are by far more interesting patterns than the Buff as well. Being stretched across my large head, the edges curled in and would not flatten again. I'm not sure if this'll change after a washing or not. Either way, bottom line on all of these is that for a large head and no hair, I would not buy a Hoo-rag again. I will buy the Buff brand over and over.

THE GREEN ONE IS SO LONG! :D
DISCLAIMER: I DO NOT USE THESE FOR THEIR INTENDED PURPOSEI have long curly hair, I sleep in these to reduce frizz and tangles. I've had the same red and black one for YEARS now (well over 10) and I was looking to have a backup, so I bought the black one and the green one. The green one almost covers all of my hair, it's super soft, and I love it! The black one is a bit shorter, but not by too much. I love them both, 10/10

Nice quality *thin/breathable gaiter!
If you know what a neck gaiter is, this is a nice quality one.Not for warmth as much as protection'Especially mandatory mask requirements upon us, this is just right. Not too constricting, nor too loose.Good investment!
