Solid tournament grade stick
Absolutely fantastic stick. Solid arcade feel, incredibly sensitive buttons and a great glossy look.Comes with optional bat top which is nice. The razer logo on the front lights up, and can be pressed to open the stick allowing for quick mods, which is a nice touch.Been using this stick for a few months now on PS3, PS4 and PC with no problem whatsoever. It's comfy to sit on the lap for long periods of gaming, and has a soft non slip bottom should you use on a desk, table etc, etc.It is tournament grade, so it's as delightful to use as it is to look at.Only downfall is that the art work is glued directly to the plexi. This simply makes it one hell of a challenge to mod the art, unless you know what you're doing. But overall, 5/5, would highly recommend.

10/10 Arcade stick
Brilliant stick, feels great and premium. Looks nice to boot! Easy to open up and change anything if you so wish it. It's comfortable and easy to use too both on PC and PS4. One of the reasons I went for this stick over the Qanba or Madcatz, because of the size. It's easy to fit in my bag and take with me.Overall, super happy with it, and know this will last me for a long time, even with all the travel!

I own a Hori RAP 4 Kai, a Madcatz TE2, a Madcatz TE2+, and now the Razer Panthera. My favorite by far is the Razer Panthera for the following reasons: Because of the way the stick/buttons are mounted, the Panthera feels MUCH more solid. There's less "give" when pressing down on the front. Aesthetically, it's way more pleasing. The look is much more sleek. The gripping pad on the bottom is more comfortable and does not get warm like on the Madcatz sticks. The cable is cloth-wrapped for durability, rather than just standard rubber. This makes me less worried about shorts when I fold it up. When you open the Panthera, it has an assisted opening mechanism to make it easier. The switch to disable the start/share buttons is heavy duty and absolutely will not be turned off by accident during excited play. The stick/buttons themselves are Sanwa components which are the same as the Madcatz, but I like that they are black rather than gray. A bat-top was included for free to switch the ball top out with which I appreciate, even though it's not my preference (Thanks Infiltration). I have not tried the Qanba Obsidian, but as of now I would definitely recommend this as the better stick in the 200 dollar price range.

A quality joystick designed with the modders in mind.
Razer has created a solid fightstick built for competitive play. Even though the body is plastic and the lid is reinforced with a metal plate there's very little flex. There's quite some heft for it being mostly plastic which helps for lap play and this is assisted by the foam pads on the bottom. The top control panel has your home button, ps3/ps4 mode, a touch pad, lock function and L3 and R3. The art is permenantly glued to the lid so it would require some heat and a straight edge to pry off if you ever decide to change it. You can easily access the internals with a press of a button which opens the top control panel guided by a gas shock. The internals reveal an excellent color coded wire management system all attached to a Sanwa Denshi lever and Sanwa buttons. The floor of the internal compartment has a honeycomb design with screwholes for future upgrades like adding your own pcb like the Brook EZ Mod. The quick discconect braided usb cable is convenient and the ability to update the pcb is a very nice touchNot all is good however. The asking price is a bit high when compared to the Qanba Obsidian or Hori Rap N Hayabusa and especially since Razer didn't include a headphone jack. Also to reinterate that the art work is not changeable is hugely dissapointing because the SFV artwork Razer used is very low resolution that you can literally see the artifacts and pixelation. The quality control is also lacking as the glossy black plastic already had some fairly noticeable scratches right out of the box. And finally, the included USB cable included is proprietary so if it breaks or you lose it then you're SOL since Razer currently does not offer a way to puchase a replacement. The Panthera sits at number 3 on my list of sticks I own1. Hori Premium VLX Hayabusa2. Qanba Obsidian3. Razer Panthera4. Hori RAP N Hayabusa5. Madcatz TES+

Excellent Stick but buyers beware!
First off, this is an excellent stick for it's cost (little on pricey side compared to others). I would highly recommend for PS4 and PC (more on that later) users. Why 4 stars? because I had to do an exchange on my first unit..... the item came with a rusted USB connector!!!. The usb connector was literally rusting out. I was not going start plugging that in to any ports and transfer the rust. Unfortunately, because there are no cable replacements, I had to request replacement from Amazon. The 2nd unit was good (however, I was a little disappointed as this NEW replacement unit had micro scratches and fairly decent size scratch on the touchpad, I'm not sure how a brand new unit could come like that being brand new. but everything works.Prior to this unit I had the Razer Atrox as I mostly use for PC and Retropie.....a TERRIBLE product for those things. Infact it didn't work that well on the Xbox One either. This Panthera just works on PC and RETROPIE!!! plug and play. No setups, it JUST WORKS. PC sees as both PS4 or PS3 depending on how you set the switch on top, and EVERY BUTTON WORKS!!!! no wires to switch, no backloading old drivers to get the Atrox to work, yuck. It just works on PC and Retropie.not to mention the ease of modding, everything easily accessible and easily modified if needed.Bad: It did not come with bat style handle :(. little disappointed. I feel like they cut corners on this one to cover the licensing fees to have the SFV art on the stick (it's nice from afar but really not that great quality print when you look up close). as if printed on a 2001 inkjet. I'm planning to order the plexi cover from focus attack so i can print my own (should fit a legal size sheet).overall, I do recommend this stick for compatibility and fact that it's original Sanwa parts.

Noice!
Amazing fight stick. Easy to mod just as mentioned. From focusattack.com I purchased a 2 lbs and 4 lbs spring for the joystick and it was a little too much tension to play street fighter so the one it came with was perfect. This comes with a 4-way restrictor plate, but I added an 8-way as it made it so much easier to do full, half, and quarter circle moves. The case makes a little creaking sound everytime you open it, but its in no way a deal breaker. Love it
