Perfectly ground/Fantastic flavor
Great QUALITY!I purchase this 5 pound bag about twice a year. I make hazelnut biscuits/cookies with this weekly. The hazelnuts are clean, very few specs of skin almost unnoticeable. I’ve been buying this since 2020 and will continue to repurchase.

As described good quality

Fine flour
This flour is much more finely ground than any other hazelnut/filbert flour I’ve found. It bakes very well and has a fairly neutral flavor.

Wonderful flavor and texture.
I used this in a sweet potato pie crust. It was fantastic! A perfect crumb crust. I'm glad I have enough to try with other recipes.

Great for LC but rather pricy
I find that this flour is not as "smooth" and easily usable as almond flour; it is also considerably more expensive, and since I consume a lot of LC products, cost does matter. If money is not an issue, and if a somewhat denser and coarser texture is not an issue, then this is an excellent product.

Great for baking
I used this flower to bake a cake and pancakes. I got the recipes on line and both turned out wonderful. This will be my new go to for GF baking.

Great substitute
I have been doing keto since last year. But I miss carbs of course. Almond flour and hazelnut flour make great substitutes for making muffins, pie crusts, banana bread, pancakes etc..

Rancid and NOT Eligible for Return
The price is good, but the hazelnut flour is rancid. Not only does it have a bitter unpleasant "off" smell and taste, but rancid oils are bad for your health as they are loaded with free radicals. Nuts spoil very easily, especially when cut or ground. Once ground for flour, nuts should be kept refrigerated and used up quickly, yet the "best by" date on the package I bought is 03/2024, almost a year from now! I wonder how long since it was ground. The package also describes the nuts as "Extra Fine Fancy." They might have started out that way, but improper handling has reduced them to trash. On the product page it says "Returns: Eligible for Return or Replacement" and if you hover over that message, a window pops up saying, "Item not eligible for return, but if item arrives damaged or defective, you may request a refund or replacement." Well, it is defective but so far I can't find out how or where to make that request. All I get are "not eligible for return" messages. That is what the product page should have said up front. It also shipped from Amazon, which gave me confidence in the product. Looks like I am going to have to just throw it out. Very unhappy with Presto Sales and my confidence in Amazon's "consumercentricity" has been much shaken.
