How fine is the strainer? Does it still leave very small bits in the tea?

I buy loose leaf black tea Depending upon the strength you like your tea one or two teaspoons is enough The mesh is quite fine I don’t drink the teapot dry I’ve had no problems I guess a lot depends on the leaf size! I don’t put tea dust into my teapot Don’t forget to take out the filter once steeped or the tea will taste bitter Perfect for 4 mugs of tea ☕️

Does this teapot work on induction hob?

It can't work on induction hob as it needs to be metal bottom on induction

Does it come with the tealight keep warm stand?

No, it doesn't come with a tea light keep warm stand. It is a great tea pot though. You can get three large cups of tea out of a single fill. Our morning tea cups are 0.4l mugs! The collar holding in the strainer can be a bit of a pain at times as it pops out quite easily. If I were to be buying a new tea pot, I certainly would not dismiss this one, but I might go for a more squat pot.
