Fun but had a couple issues
I got the Crayola Cling Creator for my 5 year old daughter so we could make pretty window clings and have fun together. The set needs to be assembled a little. It comes with a base, an orange “shaker” tube with a removable top that pops into a spot on the base, a green see-saw looking thing that gets popped into the base as well and one end needs to go inside the orange tube, a red shaper tool, five double sided molds, a yellow rolling pin, four pieces of modeling clay used for making your own molds, four tiny mixing containers, six tubes of clear “B” solution and three tubes of colored “A” solution including red, blue and yellow. The base has a storage spot for each piece. The shaper tool and rolling pin pop into the place behind the shaker tube, which I thought was convenient. The mold shapes include a flower, butterfly, sun, heart, bug, snake, sun, lightning bolt, peace sign and a music note which means it is pretty gender neutral. To make the clings, you pour clear solution “B” into the mixing container up to the line marked “B” and then add a small amount of the colored “A” solution up to the “A” line, close the lid and drop it down into the orange shaker tube. The colors mix well if you want to make a different color. My daughter and I successfully made green and purple when we tried! The solutions mix really easily and really well too. The directions say to shake for 60 seconds but we did not most of the time and the clings still set up alright. But here is where one of my issues with the product comes from. The shaker is not only very loud, but the container gets stuck in the tube. You can pull the tube apart a tiny bit to get it unstuck but it only works for a couple of seconds. I think it is due to the shaker tube being attached to the base and the base is actually raised and not flat. So when you put pressure on the thing as a whole, it bows inward and pushed the tube closed just a tiny fraction. Unfortunately, that is enough to get the container stuck. My daughter and I fixed this problem by holding the container closed with two fingers on top and our thumb on the bottom and shaking it “the old fashion way”. She laughed and would say it every time it was time to shake!Once the solution is done, you just pour it into the mold and it dries in 15 minutes. As long as you have not overfilled the container, none should leak over. It is the exact perfect amount for each mold. Once it is dry, the material feels like a bouncy ball and it sticks to windows really well. You can use the flat end of the shaper tool to help pop the clings out of the mold.My other issue with this set is that the tiny mixing containers are extremely difficult to clean! The instructions say to wipe them out as soon as you are done pouring, but at that point it has already started to cling to the plastic and it just makes a gummy mess. I found it best to wait a couple of minutes and use a different container to keep going and let the other dry. Once it is dry, it is a little easier to peel the material out but it is still difficult. I ended up using the shaper tool to clean the containers. As a final note, the clings start to tear if they're handled roughly. All in all, I found it to be extremely fun and my daughter really enjoyed it. We have made 9 or 10 clings so far. So although there were issues, it was worth it and a lot of fun.

Fun activity, use mixed solution quickly
My daughter saw this on both a YouTube video and a commercial and added it to her Christmas list. She was very happy when she opened it.We read the directions and grabbed some glitter to add to our designs. The directions are straightforward and easy to follow. I assembled the unit without the directions actually and just looked at the picture on the box.My daughter picked out to molds to start with and she wanted to make three colors: purple, green, and yellow. Since the mixing jars are clear I found it best to hold them up at eye level and add 'Solution B'. My daughter, who is 5 1/2, found it difficult to see the liquid so she asked me to do it. (The age recommendation is 8+). She wanted to mix a few colors to make purple and green and then yellow by itself. We actually decided to shake them up ourselves instead of using the 'shaker maker' on the unit. After about 60 seconds of shaking, I took the lids off of the jars and discovered that the purple was mostly set already. The other two were still liquid. The purple was finished being mixed maybe a minute before I finished shaking up the other two so I guess that was enough time to make it unusable? **The directions say you have about 5 minutes to use it once it's mixed but in our case it was more like 2 minutes.**I poured the green and yellow into two molds and quickly sprinkled some glitter on them. I noticed that they were set in about 5 minutes, but feel free to wait the full 15 the directions say. You have to be very careful when removing the clings because they can tear. The snake we did tore a little bit when I was removing it. (It may have not done that had I waited the required time prior to removal.) I successfully removed both designs and my daughter quickly wanted to place the clings on our downstairs bathroom mirror. We then rolled out the clay to make an "R" which was my daughter's first name initial. I cut all the way through the clay. I'm sure you could use any shape cutters you have on hand instead of solely using the included 'molding tool'. I cut away at the clay to make the cling removal easier. My daughter promptly hung that one up too. Cleanup took a little bit of effort. I opted to use my fingernails and the molding tool to scrape out the hardened material. We made 3 clings and used almost 1 whole tube of 'Solution B' out of the included 6. However, it is the 3 tubes of colorant that seem to get used up a lot more. The directions say you can make up to 20 clings with the included materials. The price of this is usually $20-$25 but I feel it shouldn't be more than $15. The refills are also pricey and are $10 right now.

Super impegno e autonomia
Perfetto come regalo dai 5 anni! Perfetto anche per noi adulti in quanto il prodotto non macchia assolutamente i mobili

ottimo acquisto
