Apple iPad Mini 5th Generation (Wi-Fi + Cellular, 64GB) - Space Gray (Renewed)

So far, it arrived and I’m working condition. Didn’t realize the hosted and iOS took over a quarter of the storage, or I might have gotten the 256GB, so beware. Good think it won’t be my main iPad, it will only control a Seestar telescope, along with my main iPad, and my phone, to control 3 scopes at a time

I have purchased Amazon refurbished products before with good results so wanted to try this. Tried the premium option and received a device with a very scratched screen from different seller and returned it. Ordered excellent quality for a second try and it was cheaper. Ipad received has odd patch on the back that can't be removed and an ultimately unnoticeable scratch on screen. Given I was putting a case a screen protector on the item I decided to keep it. Functions fine and works for my needs. I think purchasing refurbished items from here still is a great value, just maybe temper your expectations and be willing to go through return process if you want the perfect item. I'll update this review should anything change.

Maybe I expect too much for a refurbished product. I’d call this reset and tested, not necessarily refurbished. There is no evidence that anything cosmetic got refurbished. Here are my main points of disappointment: 1) Poor packaging, everything was rattling around in the box! The thin bubble wrap on the iPad was useless. See photo. 2) Dings/dents on every corner of the iPad. And another dent on one side. See photos. 3) iPad was not charged, nearly dead battery upon arrival. First thing I had to do was charge it. 4) The charging cube is a low-end no-name 1A USB-A type cube. I expected a USB-C 20w charger like Apple shipped with these units originally. And the cheap cube gets hot when charging the iPad, and also makes the USB-A connector on the no name charging cable hot to the touch. 5) Delivery took 2 days more than quoted. 6) All the above considered, it’s not a great deal price wise. I’ve seen similar condition offers at half the price. It did however have a screen with only one minor abrasion, and it seems to be working after I charged it with my own charger and cable. I am still thinking of returning for a refund, we’ll see how the next 7 days go. I’m suspicious of the battery condition since it arrived not-charged.

Received it early. Much better condition than what I thought. Like brand new. Yes, it only has 64gb of storage but for a mini ipad, it is wonderful. It works much faster than my old ipad 4. The screen is also brighter. The battery condition is rated at 87 percent which is also better than I expected. I plan on using for gps and kindle reader. Occasionally spreadsheets and writing. Also it is home for my bible reading. All in all I am very pleased with it. I compared the iPad mini 6 and couldn’t justify the price difference. Also I like the width of the bezels. It is easier to hold and I still like the physical button on the front. It makes it easier to log in, for me anyway. All my accorded from my 4 fit the 5 so that is another cost savings. I laid the 6 next to the 5 and the screen isn’t all hat much different. Yes, the 6 is quicker but not by that much.

Amazing! Everything they said it would be. So satisfied with my purchase and it came on time! My daughter is going to be so happy on Christmas morning. Looks brand new! So easy to set up, also comes with a charger! Perfect size as well, my daughter is 5 so it’s just the right size.

Order arrived on time. The iPad is great quality, it’s almost new. Easy to use and easy to set up. I would definitely buy again. UPDATE Apr 3/21: It’s Only been less than 2 weeks since we used this iPad and the screen kept freezing and zooming in on its own. When this happens you can not use any apps because you don’t get to see the full screen as it zooms in. I had to restart the iPad every time it happens just to get it back to normal and to resume to what I was doing. I have attached a video to show what I mean. Sadly, I am going to return this. So disappointing.

I originally planned on buying a Kindle Paperwhite Signature to stop myself from buying books I don’t have room for but decided to go with this ❤️ & I have no regrets whatsoever I found like 1 very small scratch on it but other than that it works amazing, battery doesn’t give out, runs smoothly & the sound quality is great. Came with a block & charger which I’m thankful for, definitely buy it if you’re considering it. Llegó bastante aprisa a méxico, aunque los de la paquetería lo dejaron con mi vecino y eso no me gustó porque yo estaba en casa. El paquete viene con una caja generica, es reacondicionado, pero todo funciona a la perfección, como nuevo y sin ningún detalle.
