Excellent Adventure, but not for everyone.
This is an excellent follow up installation by Larian Studios. The character development and story are deep and engaging. This being said there is a lot of following dialogue in order to complete quests. Combat is fun and in depth, but deeply challenging and focuses on a tactical presentation. There are so many skills and so many builds possible that it can easily become overwhelming for a casual gamer. This is easily a 5 star game for what it is meant to be. For people rating it 3 or less stars they obviously haven't played the 1st one and didn't know what kind of game this is intended to be. It's a very in depth, rich but slow RPG that focuses on turn based tactical combat.

Best D&D substitute on the market
No problem downloading the game with the digital code. No problems with fps and it’s a blast to play. Finishing up Act III now and worth every minute spent. (FYI—Though this is only available on digital most places, I found out that Best Buy sells exclusive physical copies with Fane’s mask on it. Similar to Diablo III packaging, but great look to it)

Entertaining Game
I really enjoy playing this RPG. I've beat the game once and am now playing it a second time. The only thing I don't like is the glitches and there are many. The game sometimes kicks me out even.

Best RPG in the Last 15 Years
Amazing game, I put over 300 hours into it. Being able to sync my saves between my computer and Switch was incredible too. I could end a game session in one place and continue it in another. Larian deserves your money and so does this game.

No Local Co-Op On Switch
If you're buying this game specifically for local co-op like I was, it is maddeningly unsupported. You will need a separate Switch for every player you want to campaign with.

Great Switch port!
This is so involved, it's very obviously related to Baldur's Gate 3. But it's portable! I'm still playing it, but I'm really enjoying it!

It's good but...
Not as nice to play on the switch as on the pc... Camera is way too close, and some other QoL that needs improvement
