Last Cast Tackle 1/4-2oz Bucktail Fishing Lure Jigs - 3 Pack

Great value and caught over a dozen fluke the first time using these jigs. If you're a fluke fisherman like me you'll want to pair these with a 4' gulp swimming mullet. Just be advised that the length of the bucktail hair will affect the tail action of the gulp. To fix this, simply put on a gulp and trim the hair so it stops before the tail of the gulp. Make sure to test it by just swimming the jig through water to make sure the tail is in fact moving; the action and presentation is SO important. Took a few tries to get it right but once I did it was non-stop action.

Exactly what you're looking for when you just want simple bucktails, nothing fancy necessary since (I believe) it's what you bait them with that matters. I was crushing them with a nice long fluke belly strip (yes from one of my legal keepers!) and a stinger hook (not store bought, I make my own).

The buck tails are amazing! The thing is I went fishing, and while I was jigging, one got snagged, which did not come off. So their goes 1. Tie on another one, gets snagged again. Tie on a different rig, doesn’t seem to get snagged. Switch to the last buck tail, gets snagged again. But that of course is not bucktails fault but how I fished them. But I can tell you, these are yet to be one of my favorite bucktails. Whether your jigging for flounder (what I mainly use for), or other species, this bucktail in my opinion outlasts the spro. Don’t hesitate to buy these.

Haven't tried them yet but here is a look at a 2oz I got today the buck tail looks good hopefully it won't fall apart in one use and it catches me a monster I'm going out tomorrow so will follow up with more pictures
