I gave 3 stars. I've not washed them yet and am already seeing 'issues'- the threads on the inside of the sock are going to snag on toes. If you look at the pix i shared, 2 are larger than others. They are super cute and soft, but thinner than expected-NOT THICK. I bought several sets of wool socks (as Winters in Northern Illinois are brutal). A little pricey for the quality.

A bit puzzled by some of the low-star reviews claiming these are thin and small. I find them to be thick, soft, and plenty large enough for my size 9, archless, pancake-shaped feet. (Seriously, I'm basically a Flinstone.) I now have two sets of these in two different patterns, and they may not be heavy enough for an Arctic expedition, but my first set kept my feet toasty warm all last winter when I was walking around my eighty-year-old, poorly-insulated, difficult-to-heat house, and I expect my second set will serve me equally as well this coming winter.

I was looking for socks that were super soft as well as warm without being that fuzzy fleece cheap stuff. It was tough reading the reviews to find exactly what I meant and wanted. So let me say first that these socks are super soft and comfy! They are not so thick that they won’t fit in shoes but not too thin as to be cheap. They’re pretty and so comfy, not stiff and “unbendable”. So if you’re looking for a super soft sock that keep your feet warm, these will do. They came stylishly packaged and hold up nicely when laundered. Did I say soft?

These seem to be a nice quality sock, but they're not for me. I wanted a thick sock that would be comfy for walking on hard floors. The foot section of this sock is very thin. It reminds me of a men's thin dress sock. It's probably one thickness above pantyhose or knee-hi hose. It's not see-through though. The crew part that's above the foot area and around the ankle is a bit thicker. I wish the entire sock was that thickness. Also, I wear a women's 9 wide, and while the toe area was nice and wide, these were quite snug in the ankle. I prefer a bit of looseness, so these socks were not for me. I did receive 5 pairs as advertised. They are made in China. Attached photos show some details. I hope this helps someone. The fit of socks is very individual. I can't speak to how these wear or wash, because I could only stand to have the one pair on for about 10 minutes.

These socks are not thick at all, they are thinner than cotton socks, and do not seem to be of high quality at all. They did not make my feet feel any warmer.

I tried to submit this review once before, but Amazon rejected it. Apparently, they don't like truthful and factual reviews.Apparently, in my first review, Amazon didn't like that I said the colors are much duller than photographed. Rather muted earth tones.Amazon also apparently took issue with me mentioning that the socks are advertised as WOMENS but the socks arrived labeled for MEN. I even included a photo showing the label stating they are MENS socks.Perhaps Amazon took offense that I said, "If you are a man, good luck getting them on. The socks are 2-way stretch, not 4 way. They will stretch lengthwise, but they don't stretch width-wise to fit around/over your ankle. They are a real struggle to get on. And once they are on, they barely fit me. Granted, for a woman, I have larger feet, but my feet are the equivalent of a Men's 9.5. So unless you're Tiny Tim, they're not going to fit an average male."Or perhaps using the word "thick" is offensive? I said that I'm not sure what this company's definition of "thick" is, but these socks are a summer weight sock, not a winter-weight. There is no cushioning whatsoever. They are like a dress sock. These socks are super thin.So I'm trying to leave a review again, because the original person who reviewed my review at Amazon was way into their feelz.

I was very hesitant to buy fall / winter socks online. These are great. Very good quality and I will order some for my daughter in different color patterns so we can tell them a part. Happy!

So I live in NYC, and after that huge snow storm at the beginning of the year, I quickly learned I need some good winter socks. The reviews are saying how warm these socks are, maybe they are warm in other parts of the US but not for a NYC winter. They are very cozy socks, but just not as thick as I hoped they would be.
