Fit perfectly on 1999 Vortec 5.7
I have used rubber gaskets before that had to be stretched and were hard to keep in place while installing. I can see some here had that issue. However on my 1999 Suburban 5.7, they fit perfectly with no stretch. They held into the valve covers plenty snug and allowed me to maneuver the things into place without falling out. The job is pretty easy once you know to remove the bolts/nuts from the AC compressor/power steering brackets and pull them forward.

No more oily bilge
Bought a brand new crate motor that seeped from port side valve cover, for 16 bucks I didn’t even bother to call supplier just got the fel pro pair. Problem solved

Started to leak pretty much right away
Not happy, less than 2 months ago I replaced the passenger side valve cover gasket with one of these Fel-Pro. I was adjusting the valves and the passenger side is much more of a pain than the drivers side and I didn't want to have leaks and have to pull the cover again so I decided to replace what I think was the original orange GM gasket. Started getting oil around the #8 plug pretty soon afterwards. I was pretty good about cleaning the surfaces and torqueing to GM spec. I even tried loosening the bolts and re-torqueing with no change. Know I get to do it again anyways but going to put in a Genuine GM gasket! Drivers side is leak free with the old GM gasket. I am done with Fel-Pro, I also get to re-do my oil pan gasket as its less than 6 months old and leaking worse than the Fel-Pro it just replaced. Going to stick with GM/ADelco on everything from now on!

Fits well
Would have got a 5 but for a bit of damage to the package which had stretched one of the gaskets a bit. Not enough to not use it, but enough to lose a star here.
