Okay, I am some who understands the difference between a good skateboard and one that is midgrade. Better than a Kryptonics. If you're on a budget, you're in luck.If you would like to ride this board out of the box, you will have a hard time with the trucks. I at least suggest replacing the bushings. $5-$8 for independent brand. Also the provided bearings would work much better if you use some oil on them. I use Bones speed cream. ($5.00). Lastly you should slightly loosen the bolts on the trucks. There should be a slight click noise as you move the wheel back and forth. If they don't move, it's to tight.I ended up replacing the trucks, bearings, and removing the risers. Basically I paid for the deck and hardware. Which to mention the hardware is a bit long for some trucks. My Element trucks for a 7.75 fit fine.That brings up another point. It is listed as 7.75. In fact it is 7.5. This difference is minut.As for the deck, it is great for any beginner. This was a gift for a beginner that is 11. The graphic has a more matte finish to it. But don't worry about it. This is a good one to learn on.

My nephew LOVED this board for Christmas! The wheels are thick and solid, as is the board. He is a beginner skater so I wanted something sturdy for him to start and he's now doing tricks on the same board. I chose a long board so he can grow into it and they are safer than the tiny boards for kids to use. GREAT PURCHASE!

So amazing for the price. Working on learning tricks from back in my skater days.

I got this as a gift for my 6 year old son. He loves it. It is sturdy and can take a beating. He has been riding it for a few months now with no issues. The little bear on the back is cute and all the neighbor boys think he is rad.

Although the price is low, it’s a very well put together board. Grip tape sticks to your shoes right out of the box! Excellent board for beginners!

The trucks on this bike are barely functional, it is almost impossible to turn on this board. I've been skateboarding 10 years and I can barely ride this thing. the deck is fine, the wheels are fine, the bearings are fine, I wasn't expecting anything nice for this price. But the trucks make it basically impossible to ride, especially for a beginner.

1. It is a 7.25 board, so it is too small for any skaters over the age of 10. (Even beginners)2. It is a VERY squeaky board even if you adjust the trucks3. The trucks are TOO tight as the board comes, causing severe wheel bite4. Only a 6-ply board5. Horrible wheels, some don't roll at all (Multiple people i know have ordered, same problem for all)But if it is just a starting board for your 6-10 year old kid, and you're not willing to spend much money on a board, you should get this board and buy a new one in maximum a year.

We bought this for my 11 year old son that has never used a skateboard before. He loves it. The value for the money is amazing, considering who knows how long he will actually keep this up. Quality is good for a beginner. Had to tighten the trucks, they were really loose and my kid is super small. But now it’s perfect.

The board itself is very good, it’s crazy how poppy it is which is honestly good for beginner skateboarders. The grip tape wore down pretty fast but it was still good after about a month. The only major problem I had with this board were with it’s trucks, which broke after a month which was kind of a let down, as I had to get new ones. The bearings are not terrible and the wheels are good but very grippy, power-sliding is definitely a challenge with these. This is probably the best board out there for its price. I would HIGHLY recommend this as a first board, if you find out that you enjoy skating than you can replace the bearings or wheels or trucks at your own discretion, but for new skaters this is the perfect board. Look no further trust me. Don’t buy this if you’re an intermediate skater though.

Great board for a beginner, younger skateboarder. It was too small for my 12 yr old, but his younger friend enjoyed it. For the cost, its perfect if your kid isnt sure how often they will use it/if they will stick to learning to skateboard.
