INIKA Organic Beige Liquid Foundation, 1.01 OZ

I ordered this in Cream. I am a true neutral with fair skin. That is supposed to be exactly what this shade is suited for and the color Cream on the match chart on their website looks exactly like my skin's shade. However, upon first application I was yellow. Even if it is caused by oxidation, the color was far darker when applied to my brush than my skin. It is my belief that this perhaps oxidized inside the bottle. Which means that the product itself is old stock. Perhaps by a year, give or take. When I patch tested this on my hand the night before applying it to my face, it was almost invisible - a perfect match. My hands are naturally a few shades darker than the rest of my body and my face.I suspect I might get a better color match if I order from the INIKA website, as the product will be assumedly newer. However, they don't offer a return policy unless you order from their Australian site, which is more expensive than their US site and Amazon by $15, currently. They also don't offer free shipping on orders under $75 vs $50 for their US site and free for Amazon Prime. The refund period is also much shorter at 14 days upon receipt and processes far longer than Amazon Prime, taking several weeks once they RECEIVE your return, so maybe a month before you see your money back. I emailed them asking if I might get a better shade match by ordering from their site instead of Amazon but I'm skeptical as to whether I'll get the truth. No business wants to admit they are getting rid of old stock for the same price as new stock, right? I might have to pay the extra money and wait for a longer refund period just to try the product on their AU site and see if there is a difference.Regardless, be wary of the color match and I don't suggest ordering it unless you have the time for your funds to be held up by returning it.I hope this review helped someone!If I do order from the AU site and find there is a shade difference, I will update this post to reflect that.P.S. I'm not saying the foundation is expired, I am skeptical that it would be, just that it may have sat in the bottle for a long time leading to a change in color. Makeup can oxidize inside a bottle regardless of brand. This would mean even the one ordered from their website, if new, would change color before expiring unless they changed their packaging or manufacturing techniques. Effectively, you'd be getting less potential use out of it than what the expiration date offered. Hope that cleared things up!

Im so in love with this product. It’s very matte. It doesn’t run. It feels refreshing immediately after applying. It’s totally light. It is an amazing product and I highly recommend it.

The coverage is buildable but no matter the tool you use to apply, it is not good. Color matches okay, it does oxidize more than most products, I’m attributing that to the more natural ingredients. Hope they fix the formula in the future

I Love that this product is organic. I just wonder about the labeling and quality? The first one I ordered has no logo? Is it a run off of the real product?Not happy with the unknown when spending 50+ dollars on foundation.

This foundation is amazing! I have searched for years for a foundation that didn't actually end up making my pores look bigger and this is it. It has great coverage but doesn't make me look like I am wearing make up. Best of all it is cruelty free and organic.

Doesn't apply as well as other natural liquid foundations I've used.

Best foundation especially for sensitive skin. I hate wearing makeup but need it occasionally in the winter time, and this is the only thing that doesn't seem to cause breakouts.

I love this product. Make sure to use with a good moisturizer. The coverage is great and I use it with the Inika powder. Finally found an organic foundation I keep coming back to. Highly recommend.

For an organic foundation, this one isn’t too bad. It doesn’t particularly give a lot of coverage, so I’d say it’s more of a BB cream than a foundation. It is rather pricey too...I probably wouldn’t purchase again if I’m honest...

I have tried MANY foundations and most of them, including ones that say they are non-comodogenic (ie wont clog pores), bring me out in spots. I tried this one on the recommendation of Madeleine Shaw (Get the Glow) and I love it, it goes on nice and creamy, it has good coverage, lasts well and really hydrates my skin without making it feel oily or greasy, there is a faint, pleasant scent, not overly perfumed (I am 47 with dry/combination skin and frequently get hormonal breakouts). The 02 Cream is perfect for mid winter when my skin is virtually white! But I go for a darker shade in the summer, and sometimes mix the two. Love it.

My wife has used this foundation for the past five years and loves it. She says it goes on like velvet, is pure and looks great with her complexion; which is flawless as she uses Dr. Hauschka skin care which is also pure. The combination of these products are perfect for a radiant look.

way too expensive for the quality, doesn't blend in nicely, don't cover anything at all... and it's not for white skin! seriously English people need to learn what white, fair skin is. this color is way too dark for me.

I don't know how, but after a a week or 4 this product became very watery. I really would like a refund because the product is pricy. I liked all the other INIKA products (I use the primer, mascara, and mineral foundation powder and am very pleased about those), so I don't know what happend. Because it comes in a pump, I can't shake it to try and see if the water "dissolves". Really not useful in the watery texture and not expected from an otherwise good brand like INIKA.
