I seldom write reviews but I was reordering and thought it worthy. These simple little connectors are great. I have replaced about 75% of them on my outdoor yard lights that had failed oem connectors (those push together type connectors that come standard on each plug and seem to fail within 2 years). I have had no problem with these, quick and simple to install. The only modification I had to make is my yard wire is thick, so I had to shave down each side of the electrical wire a bit in order for this to fit around the wire and screw down. Still, great product. I am re-ordering again for the last few lights I know will need replaced over the coming year (and want to make sure I have these in a drawer since I just use my last set).

These are so easy to use and offer a solid connection. I’ve used them for tapping into existing landscape lighting without any issues. So far have held up 4+ years and going strong.

I have tried numerous (3-4) types of low voltage connectors, typically involving some sort of sharp point that pierces insulation when a screw tightens a form onto a sharp point of folded metal.This version is easy to install and, in the short term, seems to work well. Time will tell. My concern is wire erosion on the lamp end. Seems open to corrosion from moisture entering the opening and causing galvanic based corrosion. Sealed on up with silicone glue just for comparison.

Semi-moisture proof. Great fitting for a quick add-on or new splice into landscape wiring. Simple and quick fix.

None of my low voltage outdoor connectors have survived more than a few years through the winters and summers. The others were always made of a cheap plastic that weighed almost nothing and you could feel that it would crack someday. These seem to be some kind of plastic that's higher quality, stronger, thicker, and everything about it shows that the manufacturer thought through it and produced something that should last a while for us. Also they work great.

I've tried connecting with traditional wire nuts even soldered a joint or two. Why? This makes it so simple and fast. It's just 12v low voltage outdoor lights.

A must-have for your low-voltage lights. I have purchased them multiple times with no regrets.

Clearly not designed for a wet environment, kind of important feature that is missing for a landscape lighting application
