Use the Titanium color with care.
I had a natural 3 level roots with the rest a level 8-9 bleach blond. I always go a little brassy when I do my root retouches. I usually use a Ion highlift lightest ash color from Sally's with a 20-30 developer . I usually apply from my roots up the hair shaft about a couple inches or so. This method was working very nicely to tone and lighten . So figured I try the Titanium color blond idol..... yikes my hair had a really bad green hue to it. I've tryed a couple other Blonde Idol shades with fine results but the Titanium color id say is definitely for professionals which I am not.

Great lightener
Love this . Have used a couple different shades. Good for darker hair and to be toned after lightening.

Orange, yellow and green hair
I'm sure this product is great in the right hands ... but I don't have those hands. When I was younger, I colored (lightened) my own hair, but for the last 10 years or so, I've left it in the care of a really good hair stylist. Lately, medical issues have zapped my resources, and I had about three inches of re-growth when I decided to do my own hair. I was still not feeling well, and a hair appointment seemed too much work (a lot of talking wears me out). Anyway, despite watching about 100 hours of YouTube video and following the instructions, I ended up with orange roots, a yellow crown and green ends. It was so embarrassing. I got into see my stylist two weeks later. She was able to improve the color, but it is not as lustrous or dimensional as before. It cost more, and my appointment was even longer and more exhausting than usual!

For people saying it turned their hair orange.. ...
For people saying it turned their hair orange...its because youre not mixing or applying it the right way. Use a 2:1 ratio with 40 volume developer. And pay attention..some are for hair thats already light (levels 7- 10) and some are for darker browns (3-5). The lighter you want your hair the more lift you will need, so you really should use 40 to push past the orange stage. That being said I have never had a negative result with this product. This is why non professionals should leave it up to the people who know what they are doing
