I got these as a torch substitute so I could perambulate the house at night without causing a storm of barking from my dogs, they work very well and produce a nice soft light. Also good as just plain candles. We have a lot of power cuts here and these distributed about the house produce a good failsafe as one can be caught in pitch darkness in a storm, very useful to know where an easy light source is.

As others have said the candles are very lightweight and look quite cheap until turned on, then they are pretty much exactly what I was looking for. I bought a pack of 12, there were actually 13 in the bag but 2 of them were missing the base part so I was left with 11 working ones.

Good size & looks nice at first but the batteries supplied do not last long so will try Duracell ones instead.

Great that these come with batteries. A bit disappointed that they don’t really flicker, but otherwise they are great and well priced.

When I first put these on they were very bright but after a couple of hours they have gone very dim.

So cheap but effective look very elegant and light up well very impressed
